He is the MAIN reason the show gathered popularity in the first place. Seeing how well the series is doing and the money it's bringing in, I doubt IQIYI or their investors would be willing to let them recast someone as important as Apo.

The company didn't pay the writers in like 6 months and some of the expenditures that should have been covered by them were actually being paid by the actors themselves and they wanted to exclude the r@pe scenes but daemi refused because he wanted the SA included which is fair considering it is his story although the way he handled it was too chaotic and unprofessional.
