( I posted this before but hobi wanted to read my Vegas oneshot so just skip it if u have)
Chaos surrounded Vegas from all corners. Curses were flying; walls were crumbling; the screams of his father enveloping him-- that was his life most of the day's but right now, he needed a drink so he chose a bar that Vegas used for a specific purpose.
It was a high end and known for the lavish cocktails and intimate environment and was perfect for when Vegas wanted company on a night off. Even if no one caught his eye the mafia boss would at least enjoy a good drink.
The bar was so dimly lit that his bodyguards could blend into the background with far more ease than they usually did which made Vegas’s chosen company feel more relaxed.
Unfortunately the options were limited on this particular night and Vegas was running on edge after a tense discussion he had with his father. Worst case scenario, he could call one of his previous flings, but none of them were that interesting to him anymore. Despite having great sex on a regular basis, Vegas was never fully satisfied by his encounters.
Sometimes it just felt like he was going through the motions, then a black haired, grey eyed, bespectacled girl looked him up and down, lust in her eyes -- but Vegas returned it all with a beam of obvious disgust that the girl could not miss. He hated women, he wanted to skin them alive and cut their existence out of the universe if he could -- what he wanted was a slender boy willing to take the pain he had to offer.
He then spotted tankul, luckily he was already wasted and fell on top of the chairs, after Porsche introduced him to what partying means, he has been coming here a lot more often, Vegas would mostly stay in the shadow's, he had no interest in encountering him, he was a headache he didn't need.
Vegas then looked over the boy who was trying to take care of his boss, what was his name? Pete? A smirk chugged on his lip as he stood up and moved forward, the other's appearance was becoming more visible through the faint lights.
A subtle hand startled Pete when it reached his shoulder from behind, the touch was so powerful yet so gentle at the same time, a bitter sweet trace against the fabric of his clothes, he turned around to meet Vegas's eyes, he had the eye's of an angel but the gaze of a devil.
Pete swallowed his own voice and blinked cluelessly " Khun Vegas.. " His voice went a little more quiet than usual but evenly polite, Vegas's lips curled in the sweetest smile but for some reason it made Pete's knees go weak " Your job must be quite hard, it isn't easy to take care of a psychopath " He blurs out, luckily tankul was too intoxicated to notice what was going on around him otherwise the real chaos would have started.
Pete gulped, his Adam's apple bobbed in the process, his mind couldn't catalog this moment, it was random but seemed to have a deeper meaning, something that would probably burn in his mind and keep him awake tonight.
His voice left him but Vegas broke the silence when he moved his face inches away from Pete's only to title his head to the side and put his lips a few centimeters back from the other's ear " I wonder if you could handle a sociopath as well. " His voice dripped in something so low that Pete's heart stopped in his ribcage, threatening to escape his chest.
Vegas then pulled back and resumed the seemingly innocent grin, his finger hooking underneath Pete's chin and giving it a slight tap " Tell kinn I send my greetings " His eyes pierced through Pete as if trying to look for his soul, playing with kinn's bodyguards was one of his habits or maybe you can call it a hobby, seeing the look on Pete's face was the satisfying he was looking for the entire night and now he finally got it.
Pete was magnetized, shivers surged through every cell in his body, that sweet demonic voice won't leave his head tonight and he fully acknowledged that as for Vegas, he may have found a new little toy to play with.
(To gege) Kim -- It's been a week since I have been tutoring Chay and each day my aim was getting lost, I never thought someone like me could be abstracted from my goal, I was here to find information yet all I could focus on is the boy with the eye's of an angel. It was so easy to get distracted whenever I was with him, my mind would effortlessly go hazy and suddenly I would forget my own name just by staring at him.
