Mimi, I feel you. There's a bunch of people on Twitter and even Youtube (actually, Youtube is almost worse then…
I said this before but in my opinion this is a gray situation and no one is wrong in how they feel.
I think it’s important to look at prior events for example we are shown Porsche reacting very differently when Vegas tries to force himself upon him. He fights back despite his arousal. No matter what the drug was it’s clear that Porsche retains enough capacity to say no.
The awareness is also shown when he acknowledges their kiss while Kinn clearly restrains himself despite Porsche’s advances. He was actually holding himself back until he found out he remembers the shared moment on the pier as if that was some kind of established attraction.
He wanted to help him, make him feel safe and cared for because he was disoriented.
I would never make these arguments if this was a real life person but this is a drama and it allows me to create my own perspective on their life. Plus they showed more consent in this show than any other BLs I’ve seen where the other person literally screams "no" but they play romantic music and call it a night.
I completely understand why this can make people feel uncomfortable but it was to be expected considering the genre. There is no healthy representation here. Its all about fucked up dynamics.
Everyone is valid to their thoughts but so am I, so I don't need anyone to tell me I'm into SA just because I see it differently than them, let people be. I'm not trying to change anyone's mind, if they interpret it as SA then I fully understand but that doesn't mean I have to see it in the same light they do, I'm allowed to create my own view 😌
jfc YES, I know this, like all of this is o my mind whenever i see that moment of sadness on his face and it's…
You will get a better perspective on kinn once you read the book I can't wait for your review on that one ❤🐈⬛ I honestly think that people tend to look past Porsche's pain because he covers everything with so many smiles and so much noise making it look like he's always happy when he's literally dying on the inside, I hope we will see what's hidden behind his shield in the next episode, I wanna see him vulnerable even though it will create some emotional damage to my life lmao
Tiktok must be worst than Twitter right now, people are attacking kimchay and mostly jeff for the age gap -- I'm sorry but unless you are barcode's legal guardian I don't see how you should be judging his choice of portraying this character, if you feel uncomfortable with the age difference that's understandable and even though I can't relate, it's valid and you are free to skip their scenes but for God sake this is taking it too far, leave the actors alone and don't bash the audience, keep your opinion focused on the show, you are more than welcome to criticise that one but you are not entitled to judge US or the ACTORS okie 😌
Everyone is talking about kinn's trust issues caused by the betrayal in his past but why isn't anybody mentioning Porsche?
His entire youth was wasted because he had to constantly look after the only family he has left and his uncle which is the one person he trusted deceived him so bad that he's now in a debt that separated from his brother and forced him to do everything he hates.
Porsche has trust issues as well, sure he is way more expressive and open than kinn but that doesn't change what's hidden underneath. There’s something about the way Porsche gets quiet and let's the pain wash over his face for a split of second.
He hides his trust issues behind so much chaos making it seem like he's childish when in reality it's just a cover, he plays it off and it hurts to know that despite it all he will still trust kinn blindly yet it won't be reciprocated.
I love when people come in here, leave a comment about how toxic the audience is for supporting this series and then say they are gone drop it like ok sis trash took itself out
