Agreed, as someone who read the novel I can say that the change will be too drastic if they cut that part out and besides they are staying very faithful to the book, they did adjust some stuff such as kinn's body type and small details here and there that make it seem more realistic but I wouldn't say it's that different from what I read as for Vegas and Pete, they either change their entire story or just add the r@pe because other wise I don't see how it will play out
