From where I stand, this show is viewed very different from both sides, the one's who read the book will have an entire different perspective on it than the one's who didn't and also it's due to the delays and the changes we had in the early pre-production of this series. I mean the author is involved, daemi will probably want the live action to represent the book properly besides this, some people are just starting to read it now and they get excited and bring it up which is okay.
