I hope it stops getting compared to the other show's. I can say its something i have not seen before and it became my favorite since episode 1 which is rare for me

I read this somewhere and as much as I hate to say this, Kinnporsche is not going to be the groundbreaking show we all thought it would be. Not because it's bad but because the show is two years late. We had this great opening in the episode, great fighting scenes, the chemistry between the characters - all of them - was on point, we had emontional scenes , they introduced the characters in a perfect way to help people who didn’t read the novel to connect with them emontionally as well and everybody is out there screaming about KinnPorsche, TimeTay and VegasPete

However the quality of BL had evolved in comparison with the older ones : better acting, the cinematography, good chemistry, a little bit of creativity in the plot and we have started to move from the little peck's and Kinnporsche in 2020 would have been groundbreaking based on what we currently have seen in episode 1. The budget, from luxury to the mature content, the intimate scenes because it would be the first but the problem is in 2022 we already have seen all of that in other BL : Cutie Pie, Not Me, ITSAY, Bad Buddy all showed a serious evolution in term of intimacy in the couple so now Kinnporsche is just standing with them when they should be standing above them because KINNPORSCHE IS SUPERIOR, it's just a bit late. To me none of the show's above could even come close to the first episode of KP but to many people it gets compared to those, they say it's not enough toxicity now but when things get darker there will be a riot over too much violence, they will never be pleased because they will always try to push it into a competition with other shows.

Do not trust the rating, it is a masterpiece

One of my favorite little moments was when Porsche copied perth with his little “got it”. HE'S SO CUTE.

This whole episode gave me stress, anxiety. This man went from fucking one thing up to another. It’s like he just couldn’t stop but then again, I love how chaotic he is because seeing his development throughout the drama is going to be beautiful. I just know it.

I saw a lot of people on Twitter surprised by Porsche's behavior but he was just as playful in the first episode. He literally told a gang of thugs to wait while he pissed in a bottle if that's mature then idk 😭 This man was chaotic in previous scenes. We didn’t see it as much because he was with his family but it should be no surprise anyway I loved it 😭

Considering that both show's air at the same time there will be some competitivity between the two even if they are nothing alike, they are totally different genres after all. KP just started and as much as I want it to be high up there we do need to be patient :(( I have no doubt that it will eventually reach that point though and also I heard that New or Zee promised their fan's something ( not sure what ) if they get 3 million tweets on episode 8 so that also must have made people go crazy and try to archive it

The seme/uke dynamic does not actually exist in real life, and the blind acceptance of it is altogether inaccurate. Forcing the “seme” and uke” roles onto same-sex couples shoves them into a box of what is perceived as “male” (the “seme”) and “female” (the “uke”) and on top of that it promotes the mindset that femininity is submissive, inferior, and weak, a role to be controlled by the 'male’ “seme”, which is obviously sexist. I personally do not like the tropes so I enjoy porsche for this reason as well

This sounds like ''my beautiful man'' when everyone was hating on kiyoi for being too masculine, I agree there are some people who just can not stand seeing a powerful bottom but instead prefer to watch them as fragile babies who need protection 24/7. Although there is also a part of audience which finds porsche annoying for different reasons such as '' being arrogant '' or being too '' reckless'' which is fully valid, I personally dont see him like that but people have their own perspectives so I dont have an issue with that but to all of the people who strictly hate on him for not being the typical ''feminine'' uke, thats not really a view on a character that is just them being desperate little girls who fetishize gay men and feel the need to see ''gender roles''

I think that seeing Porsche as being a quirky idiot just means we can really see how he grows into his role. From a reckless childish behaviour to a reliable bodyguard and partner to Kinn.

This happened with ''my beautiful man'' and ''kieta hatsukoi '' they were nothing alike but people felt the need to compete with it and thats how utskushii kare got such a low rating. KP and CP can not even be compared, the only thing they have in common is high budget

I wouldn't say he's arrogant, I believe he feels all confident and assured being a bodyguard because he was literally chased to do so and Kinn's father even gave him authority over the other two people on his first day so he doesn't really know what he has gotten himself into.

He's a total outcast among all the bodyguards he's undisciplined and needs a lot of training. He's already doing a tantrum and making a mess but Porsche is very used to being able to go out and get what he wants through his cheering personality so this is all new to him.

When he hurt Macau, I think he was trying to regain some of the control he used to have on the outside. He was well respected amongst his friends and at the place he was working, so to suddenly be at the bottom is probably a hard hit for him.

He has a big ego and he's feeling helpless. On top of that he was separated from the only person he really cares about.

And as to why Porsche hasn't gotten killed yet, that's something that will be revealed later in the show as it is in the book, a lot of things will be explained later on however I can understand this show is not for everyone and you are fully entitled to feel as you please about it I just wanted to give you an insight of what I think about why Porsche may seem arrogant, I hope you do find a show that you will like though.
