It's like 6AM here and I'm already bouncing in excitement. Also, still mildly terrified about the plot and prepared to bawl my eyes out, but overall EXCITED!
I appreciate Saint taking the complaints of Thai wlw seriously, buuuut this also reminds me of how there is a very big divide in the community over whether the queer experience should be sanitized for the straights vs authentic representation. Especially within the lesbian community there's a tendency to purify wlw relationships and I'm just sitting here disappointed and wanting to shout, "let the lesbians have sex dammit!"

I loved the support Daisy got from her friends in that scene, so I wouldn't have cut that in favor of Touch talking to her like in the book, but the series should have just done both. xD
I was nothing but smiles throughout the whole second half of the final episode. Who could have predicted that this show would have such wholesome, healthy relationships and one of the best friend groups I've seen in a bl. This is my favorite series of 2022 as of right now.
My only complaint (which I think most viewers are also complaining about) was that Daisy and Touch deserved more screen time and Daisy deserved a better resolution to her gender crisis.
Anyways, this queer little show deserves so much more love.
Episode 6 was a bundle of domestic fluff with a sprinkling of plot. I love when couples go shopping together, so that bit was tailored for me, and Tommy being pouty over Bada working too late and not coming to bed was also adorable. Excited to see them both move forward in their career paths!
I thought Bada's ex wanted the reporter's article to be critical, what a genuine surprise that he was supportive.
Also, lol @Bada just yelling for Tommy on a wide open beach with no one around. xD
The ending shots of the beach and the kiss were very pretty, buuuuut I don't think the kiss was well timed. I would have much preferred it if Bada apologized and asked Tommy to come back home and perhaps we'd be given all of ep 6 to develop their relationship more and have Bada actually show appreciation for all Tommy has done.

Read that Holland reported the assault to the police as well. I hope the attacker is caught and is justly punished, but I am honestly not expecting much.
No matter the outcome, Holland continues to be an icon of strength for the S.Korean lgbtq+ community.
Also, just to spite the homophobe, I'm donating to a S.Korean lgbt organization. Progress will continue.
I felt for Tommy in this one. He's been doing so much to help Coy Udon gain customers, he stands up for Bada when he's being cheated, and the reveal of the social media account shows his dedication even more, but Bada shows a lack of appreciation and sends Tommy away after his first mistake (which, going by the previews, appears to be the children's accident, but Bada snapped without even asking for an explanation).
I think Tommy was right to call him out and say Bada wasn't much different from his ex-partner.
Excited for Bada to go after Tommy in classic romcom style next ep.
Honestly, I'm only watching this to support Holland and didn't come expecting a masterpiece, so I seem to be enjoying it more than most, the hilariously bad CPR scene included. xD
I really do like the characters tho! Chef Bada with his terrible social skills knows he sucks at selling his udon, and Tommy with his natural charm comes to the rescue! People are hating on Soyoung, but she saw a business opportunity and took it, so good for her.
I almost didn't give this show a chance because of all the negative comments, but I've just binged 10 eps and it might actually be my favorite bl of 2022.
It's very camp, which means the characters are deliberately over the top and the comedy is absurd, and we've got femmes taking center stage and getting romanced instead of being the background characters like in most bls. I am absolutely here for it.
Also, there are two queer friend groups that come together to make one big fam that loves, supports, teases, and roasts each other. It's actually pretty wholesome.
Might not be the best produced or best written bl of 2022, but it's crazy fun, and I'm having a blast!
