ngl sometimes it's better that way... cuz bro is a minor
same! I saw a Tiktok mentioning that they were the same age, but in the manga or the story I don't think they ever mention Kishi's actual age (also omg, as a fellow wlw I love your username)

right, like if Kishi is in his 20s then I hope it remains platonic. at first I just thought he was a weirdo highschooler with too much free-time, but this tutoring thing seems to be his full-time gig..? so he's probably older than Toru? who knows with these two??
I get where you’re coming from, but I actually see it differently. For me, the love interest doesn’t feel…
hi, I don't know what show you were watching but the main character literally kept telling the love interest to stop touching and kissing him and asking him what he was doing. non-verbal consent means that there are CLEAR, visible signs both parties are interested in taking things further - flirting, lingering looks where both of them lean closer, stare at each other's lips or even light touching. Tuo starts touching and kissing Jun Xi without any of these being present, and doesn't stop even when the other guy say no. Tuo does all of the signals by his own while Jun Xi just stares at him and "takes it". while the audience knows that he likes him, he did not give the green light to Tuo. Tuo took advantage of the fake-dating and ignored Jun Xi's boundaries all throughout the first episode.
never heard ppl complain before that an actor was too good looking 🤣 I mean, I do get that it might not necessarily fit the character but they can always tone it down with make up etc.
I haven't started yet, but does the rom com feel throughout all of the episodes?
so far yes. don't think american romcom but there are genuinely funny moments most episodes. ep 15 was a bit rough and had some more drama and angst but there were also cute scenes in it. they balance the serious and funny parts quite well
I didn't want to start this one first bc I thought it'd be an angsty dark romance BL but it is actually a really funny romcom with lovable character dynamics, really shippable couples and just the right amount of angsty backstories
