The school has other kids not only the main three that may have parents who have powers... How the teacher seems to evaluate and grade them (the electric busman is rated B and unqualified), same as the bully dude (rated C) Maybe not all children will inherit the power?

Did anyone else notice the date on the cellphones when they showed the text messages? It was dated 2015... I would like to know if the two seasons were filmed then (probably S3 has also finished filming), or was the time setting in 2015?
