Allyson, I think, Arang is terribly sad to me. I want to go to Korea and have words with the writer, if you know what I mean. I mean, lady, lighten up, maybe she or he was depressed when they were writing this script, or maybe director was depressed and threw out all the happy pieces. The first 5 episodes were very happy, but then the sadness overload, I think I can see only one drama like that every 6 months. Yes, I really think you better stick with SI, there are 28 episodes so that is great. I only saw first episode last night, like it, but I will have to watch very little (one a night) since the deadlines in these 2 weeks are unbeliavable. So much work, I now this of it as Kdrama civil servant enemy number 001 :)

Hi chingu, just posted my brief reflection on Arang. I so loved the show, so I wrote a bit about it. How is shinning inheritance? I am going to do first episode now. OMO, not enough LSG, what are they thinking, that man's charms have to be exploited every minute of the show :).

Here is a bit about this amazing show Arang. I LOVE Arang and Magistrat, I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the 3 characters. The acting of the main character stunned me, in every episode I just keep looking at him in disbelief, how amazingly he portrays human angst, and happiness, and love, he is funny, whimsical. Not the most handsome but he grew on me like a virus, and just won’t let go. I also like our Gumiho Arang, she did amazing job as well, amazing, oh, so incredible. Allyson, Arang is very dark, constantly some unhappiness is happening. Because it caused me so much anxiety I am having hard time with being terribly cheery about it. But I also couldn’t stop watching it, and for the first time in a long time I think I am having terrible withdrawals from it. I grew to like them very very very much. In some way, I wish I could jump into screen and give everyone big hug, and take care of them, and nurture them. I just love them all. Even the guy who did so much wrong, even for him I felt such empathy, oh, the emotions I felt watching this show, it equaled Faith in many way. So much emotion. The music, I LOVED, they overalyed classical with pop music in some segments, it was beyond spectacular. Costumes I loved, scenery, and the heaven, I loved that too. I loved everything, except sadness. Definitely great show. Great, happy, happy ending. The sadness, too much of it.

Cool, then I think I will postpone PK for later, let us then do shinning inheritance, there will be 3 of us watching, I will start tonight, I was supposed to start last night, but I was so sad about finishing arang that I couldn't start another. The ending was great, but I didnt want to say goodby to the show :) aigooooo

Yes, we decided with AllysonCG to watch it since it has LSG, lets watch it together, it is so much fun commenting, or when you are done with arang, it might be your next one? LSG overload is necessary :).

Oh that is so coool. I TOO am learning from TTMK but I only just finished level 1. So I have a loooooooo way to go but it makes me so happy when I understand a bit. Where are you now in your learning? I always feel SO happy when I can recognize a word or two here and there :). Oh, so you did see the PK? I am SO happy you recommended it. I really really really want to watch something easy and happy. Does it remind you of any show you also watched? I see, not yet Jhen, as I am getting ready to go to Korea (in my dreams) and styding Korean I can not afford language contamination/confusion ( ha ha ha) so I can not watch anything but Korean at the moment, once I master Korean I will do Japanese as I LOVE that language as well :)

yes I will write my thoughts on Arang, since I LOVE LOVE LOVE it, I think it must be for me like missing you that you watched. I am so glad I saw it but if I knew how sad I would feel I would probably not have started. Still waiting forending then I will write you the story of it :)

Aigoo Jhen I forgot it is already monday, darn it :(, we have a holiday here so not working tomorrow. NO, absolutely NO watching Arang, too much death and sadness and forget about it. Lyna Chan, you are young but smart and wonderful person...I am happy we got to meet through our drama addiction :). I am not terribly much older, and I AM terribly immature, so in real age, we are very, very close :) My poor hubby, barely can understand this addiction ha ha ha. I am even learning Korean if you can believe it :). I LOVE everything about Arang, do you find it funny? I laughed so much earlier in the show :)

I have ep 20 of arang and then immediately, immediately I am jumping on our LSG drama :)
