I haven't watched the next couple of episodes yet, but I am also not a fan of him so far. And Chai Phee is different…
Yeah, my favorites are Chai Yai and Chai Ruj. And yeah I honestly to this day still don't get why Chai Pat and his show are a favorite. I tried rewatching again recently and I couldn't make it past ep 3. Yeah, that's why I was also surprised with Chat and liking him so much cause he is basically not like his father much. He is very playful. So it's been interesting to see how the sons either take on their father's personalities or don't and if that's for the better or not.
I haven't watched the next couple of episodes yet, but I am also not a fan of him so far. And Chai Phee is different…
It's the first one - Khun Chai Tarratorn, but I am very much the black sheep, lol. It's not the most popular one out of the five, but I personally like it cause it introduces the brothers (even all the Dhevaprom sisters and dad) really well and how tight their relationship is. And I personally am a fan of Great and Preem - I really liked their chemistry and I especially like Mapgrang (Preem's character) and her relationship with her dad as well. The historic part of the story is pretty boring, I won't deny that. But I like the comedic and sweet scenes. And I just have a lot of nostalgia for it.
I haven't watched the next couple of episodes yet, but I am also not a fan of him so far. And Chai Phee is different…
Yeah, I completely understand cause even I made the comparison as well, but the difference for me is that Chai Phee is likeable. I hope you enjoy it! It's probably my second most watched out of the series.
OK, Jak is not impressing me much at this point. He's not making it clear to Noopok and not holding the line with…
I haven't watched the next couple of episodes yet, but I am also not a fan of him so far. And Chai Phee is different in the sense the situation is different and they handle it differently.
I won't try to spoil too much, but basically with Chai Phee, he is literally the last hope to complete the promise to marry a Dhevaprom and his grandmothers basically give him no choice since none of his brothers went through with it. On top of that, Rampha is super kind and attentive to him and his grandmas so, he feels bad to say no to her and her father also puts the pressure that the marriage needs to happen. And let's just say Rampha really goes to far lengths to have Chai Phee...lol, that's all I am gonna say about that.
There is a misunderstanding with him and Piengkwan (the female lead) at first, but once that gets cleared up, he doesn't hide his feelings from her and is straightforward. It is frustrating at times at first because you really feel for Kwan.
But since you get to see Chai Phee and the other brothers quite often from the first to last series, you really get to like him as you get to know him even though he is immature because esp Grandma On really spoiled him. It's just too bad because I think the overall character development (not everyone, but some) in this series has been a bit lacking compared to the original.
honestly same, i didnt love kwanruethai much, but obviously its better than both the parts, my only problem is…
Lol, yeah I anticipated it the most at first cause it's Chai Yai and Mapgrang's child's story and then when the actual trailers came out, that one caught at attention the most.
I am guessing based on the trailer and Kwanruetai/Dujapsorn, this one will be a little more light hearted when it comes to the Dhevaprom promise. Or at least it won't be as dramatic since the two who held the biggest grudges were Marathee and Rampha and those stories are and will be resolved (though who knows with how crazy Rampha is, lol).
Not that I don't think there will be drama, but it looks like it's more about the FL struggling with her feelings for the ML when it comes to the promise.
Which is an interesting way to end on since the OG series ended on the most dramatic story, lol. Not that I mind, I think that it may be a nice way to end the series.
honestly same, i didnt love kwanruethai much, but obviously its better than both the parts, my only problem is…
Yeah, I feel like I might get invested in the second couple more once they both actually move on from their feelings.
Omg, same - Dujapsorn has been the one I have been anticipating the most cause of the OG couple as well as the main couple and it essentially having the biggest OG villain. I think someone said that they read the books and this one was their favorite out of all of them, so I am even more hyped, lol.
I definitely think there is potential for this one especially like you said, it's only been four episodes and I keep having to remind myself it's longer than the others. Yeah I think that's my biggest thing with Jak, it's not cheeky and it also may be Tate's acting that is throwing me off a bit.
Haha, no problem. I am a fan of romcoms and I think that's why I liked the second part so much. But my biggest thing is there needs to be chemistry, even if the scene isn't romantic. So, will see!
I'm still too stuck on Kwanruetai, lol. I had such a a big smile when I saw Ket and Chat.
I honestly did not get into episodes 2 and 3, but episode 4 was better as far as the story progressing. I am mainly interested in the mom storyline.
I only have so much patience for love triangles/quadrangles recently in general (unless it's done well) for any dramas especially when people get clingy/can't accept. Hopefully that moves on somewhat especially with the preview for the next episode. And that one student's father - just blech!
I don't like Jak...yet. He is very immature like his father, but for some reason, the way it comes off here isn't the most likeable unlike how it was with Chai Phee. And that's why I am loving Grandma On so much in this series. It feels like she really did learn from what happened with her grandsons and I love how she told Jak that he needs to handle things on his own and not string it along. I'm on the fence with Nuphuk. There are some qualities I like about her and some not so much. It's taking me some time to warm up to the couple, they have their moments.
Side note: Jak really needs to stop with the car situations he gets in, lol. That seems to be a theme in this show.
I kind of feel like I am in the middle about how I feel about this series when comparing between how I felt about Laorchan (not so much interest) and Kwanruetai (too much interest 😂). But I feel like there is potential and it will be an interesting ride especially with how long this one is.
This has been the one I have been looking forward to the most from when this series was announced hundreds of years ago, lol. Reasons why - Chai Yai and Maprang are my favorite OG couple so, couldn't wait to see their son's story. Mint and Peak not only visually caught my eye, but their chemistry definitely oozes out of the trailer. And Rampha was the best villain. So the combination of all this is getting me hyped up.
Gosh.where am i going to watch this?i checked lakorngalaxy its not there 😢😢
They typically post the episodes a day or so after on lakorngalaxy since they post for a bunch of other shows as well. I'm using VPN and some do work for Netflix Thailand.
okay so remember that aunt of dhevaphan?? so basically she married the musician and had a son which is nupuk's…
I meant I can't remember that story you explained unless it wasn't in the original series and it's something they are going to explain later on. Which I am guessing what you mean?
The first episode was pretty good. There was so much going on one after another (especially in the beginning) that my emotions couldn't keep up, lol. I really like Nuphuk so far and Jak grew on me as the episode went on. I don't want to compare early on since I really liked Khwanruethai, but this definitely kept my attention and I am looking forward to the next episodes. Esther being in the episode gives me hope for other OG cameos. I am just going to put in my head that we just haven't seen pics or BTS stuff for surprise reasons, lol.
P.S. I saw some comments below saying this is a cousin relationship...it isn't, lol. I am guessing the tag means the relationship between the Juthathep cousins. And the Dhevaprom leading ladies are also related to each other. But none of the couples are related to each other.
It was great that a lot of bows were tied up in the last episode. Definitely going to write a review on this one, but it really was an enjoyable show. My only wish was that there were some more moments between Chat and Tai in the last episode, but still the ending was cute! I didn't realize the next series starts tomorrow cause I think there were couple of days between this and Laorchan. Can't wait to see this couple again sometime within the next three series!
What a great scene between Phat and Maratee. At first I thought she was just imagining it in her head and then the cut from their younger selves to the present was a great transition. It was a talk that was not only needed, but finally that Maratee was listening despite still being stubborn. Phat had always been honest about how he felt about her and everything in general.
And a freaking round of applause to Kong! He was right about every single thing he said to Maratee. Especially about the fact that she isn't his real mom yet he cared for her like one and she did not give any care or love in return. And that she betrayed him as well is messed up.
Is laorchan good?i cant get pass phu in 1st ep..would he be better later on?both are kind of cheesy in kwanreutai…
Lol, I completely understand about the cheesy stuff. For me, it was okay. I would say watch it if you want to be a completionist, but if not, then I would say you can skip it. Like the original series, they basically drop previous context into each separate show.
If you are still curious, but don't want to watch the whole show, then I would suggest watching the first couple of episodes, then go to ep.7 where you get to see all the original couples alongside their kids (which is fun) and it also is the episode where the plot moves. Then honestly you can go straight to the last three episodes. If you know the general 'why/what' about Laor and her goals, then this should be a good spread of episodes to show the overall story. Does the cheesy continue? Yes and no, lol. The romance drops here and there and is more about Laor's family and royal background.
Everyone has been guesstimating, lol. My guess would be that Chat is probably at least 28-30 taking into account…
Oh wow, lol! I know, I find it interesting cause similar to the original series, they casted some really young actors to play characters that are a good amount older i.e. James. But I guess that's where the acting needs to pay off and be believeable which I think everyone has been doing well so far. And series like these are good vehicles to mass introduce new or newish actors/actresses in lead roles. What I find the funniest for myself is that this goes to show how much I actually paid attention while watching Laorchan...sorry, Laorchan 😬

Lol, my math could be wrong. I remember reading in asianfuse (bear in mind this was years ago when the sequels were first announced) that apparently they all had their first kids around the same time-ish or like close enough one after another. And that yeah, lol, despite being the last ones to get married, Chai Yai and Maprang were the first to be pregnant. So, if this takes 30 years after Ronaphee, then that's basically where my guesstimate is coming from, that their age ranges are around mid-late 20s. Please just give us translated books🙏 I am a huge book reader so, I really want to know specific details about things and characters so, not knowing this is 🫠 But yes, math isn't my strong suit, lol.
