not really, it is a big backdrop that has been consistent. from the first season higher ups in the pd and the general public never viewed isoo as a legitimate detective and whenever he slips up, it instantly validates everyones pre existing bias. its actually quite realistic view especially of kr police unfortunetly. the upper management of the police force is entirely politically driven and a massive scandal involving the heir who also happens to be a cop is a nightmare to them. they dont care about finding the truth sadly. they care about controlling the narrative and protecting their own jobs. pronouncing him guilty allows them to be distanced. power and hierarchy is still a big thing in kr and i dont think its ever gna fully die down.

i suppose that its a delibarate choice in cinematography. she is often described as cold, serious and strict. her acting and clothes are also are unyielding, so i would assume that the haze is there to humanize her on screen.

its a dark comedy show. its supposed to be wacky. some ppl understand it, some dont.

bit late but this show is very dark comedy so her doing that face is her visually signal to the audience that she has temporarily "lost her mind". its a gag showing that she has reached the point of overload from pushing past her physical limits and the singing is probably a coping mechanism as she does seem like a perfectionist.
