Hmm interesting theory I could see the PM going in that direction but I like Shin Jae as a good guy so I hope he doesn't go over to the dark side. I'm looking forward to the inevitable showdown between the king and his uncle now that we have a better idea of what he's planning.

6 episodes in and it feels like we've only gotten 2 episodes worth of plot development.
I'm trying to see the chemistry between the leads but it's just not there :/ they're just so dull together.
Woo Do Hwan doesn't get enough screen time but he still brings so much to the little scenes that he gets. Another character that doesn't get enough screen time imo is the prime minister.
I'm not sure where the writers are going with her character but I enjoy watching her shut down sexist remarks and putting her haters in their place.

This cast is incredible!! I can't wait

Woah I loved her in both Hyena and Another Child and I didn't even realize it was the same actress! I can't wait to see what she does next.

I'm liking this so far, but I want to see him fall in love with her for who she is not just because she reminds him of his first love

When she was upset about her father and he asked "what can I do for you right now?" and she said "just be here" UGH my heart exploded!! He's chipping away at the armour around her heart and she's finally letting him in.

I ship saeroyi and yi seo but I kinda miss the carefree and bitchy yi seo :/ watching her cry over him in the middle of the street was painful

Ji Chang Wook is beautiful but Kim Jae Wook should be #1

Even after they started dating it still felt like an employee/employer relationship which made it hard for me to get into them as a couple :/

I hate Yi Hyun so much!! He acted like cared about Yi Kang and his mother yet the minute Yi Kang finally has a purpose in life he tries to destroy it.

This cast is perfect!! Kim Eun Sook dramas are usually a hit or miss with me so I'm really hoping this one will be good

My Country was great but that ending tho :( this is why I can only watch a few sageuks a year. Hwi and Sun Ho was the true main couple of the drama. Their death scene had more chemistry than Hwi and Hee Jae's entire relationship.
I have nothing against Seolhyun but I do wish they got a more dynamic/seasoned actress to play Hee Jae. They lowkey set her up because it's probably reeaaally hard to stand out in a drama full of incredible actors like JANG HYUK (and Yang Se Jong, and Woo Do Hwan and Kim Yeong Cheol and Jang Young Nam....)

I love Jenny and Jung Hyuk's relationship. It's not romantic but still tender

Started out good but got sloppy and underwhelming towards the end. The OST is amazing tho.

The major plot twist reminds me of Black Mirror White Bear
