Guys I'm so confused about the Joon Hyuk / Woo Jin thing. Are they the same person or? Because I remember the officer guy telling him to save his sibling or something and I'm confused on that. Can someone please respond to this?

I really didn't expect to like this drama this much, I've literally been binging it since I started watching. I ship the main two so hard, never thought I'd love ballad music so much either. The music is so pretty and even though this drama can make me really sad it's pretty easy to watch and not super serious like some other dramas which I like. And Joy's a pretty good actor, I was surprised. I just love this drama a lot so far.

Thank God I'm not the only one, everyone keeps praising this series to no end but I watched this and it was just so bad to me. The first one was better than this one but imo it was still shit.

This drama is rated ridiculously high imo.

Watched this while it was airing and jeez this drama was so good. Can't get it off my mind, it was amazing. Thinking about rewatching it, it as just so nicely done.

Lmao managing to survive watching more than 6 episodes doesn't mean a drama is good or worth watching. I have watched movie series, one after the other and absolutely hated them or rated them extremely low and I finished them simply for completion. If I start something I'm adamant about finishing it so I disagree, this drama has parts that are good but overall would I recommend this show or say it's "worth watching" - probably not. The drama has it's good things but overall I just think it's poorly written and planned out. And IDK how this drama is gonna create some kind of bigger importance so late in the show when more should've been developed earlier on IMO.

Right... I started watching it for Taehyung.. but God damn.. it's just... It's not good. For me I enjoyed it when it started but it just gets worse.

This drama started pretty well but progressively each episode gets worse. I binged the last few episodes because the characters made it really enjoyable, but I'm kind of at a stand still. The main character is dull and dry, and Ah Ro cries every episode on top of her just not playing that much of a roll. The romance feels so forced in the drama, amongst other parts of it feel so forced. I love love a lot of the side or supporting characters, it's mostly the main two I really don't enjoy. The characters in this show are the only good thing going for it at this point in my blunt opinion. I think the idea and plot of the show sound so good and if it was just executed better and if the story was written better this show could've been so amazing.

I'm gonna continue watching it for Taehyung and Ji Dwi, and Banryu and a lot of the supporting characters because they're just really good characters whom I adore but God this drama just... So disappointing.

TBH I kind of understand, despite it having a good cast, the overrall writing for the show lacks a good direction and it's just poorly written. For me, I enjoy this show but ONLY because of the characters. I love the interactions between the Hwarangs but the rest of the drama is dry and repetitive.
