They're watching the final episode live with fans on March 1st, which would make it episode 17 if they air one episode a week until that weekend. I'm not sure if it's a double episode to make it 18 episodes though, or if there will be a special episode after it.

He has said in interviews that GMMTV just gives them a series to do and so they act in them, lol. Like, he said that himself. But I'm sure the actors have some say. At least, I hope they do. Krist has been perfect for all of the roles they've given him so far so I assume they do that because they know he'll be great. There are only so many actresses at GMMTV and he's been cast with half of them already, lol. They'll just keep giving him a partner until one sticks.

What a great first episode. It introduced the characters and the plot very nicely, and I already anticipate the angst when the siblings realise they both have feelings for the same guy. The acting of the teenage version of the twins did a very good job, I really felt for the young Auy and hated the mother for how she was treating them.
