On the first episode, grandpa was the only invitee on the ML's wedding, since it was held for only him to see anyways. So he have always known about the ML's wife, who supposedly came from Italy

Sameeee! I did watch a few that you've mentioned, but not because they were popular. It was because the plot caught my attention or one of my favourite actors star in it. I would rather watch something that matches my taste than what's on the word of the streets.
