Totally agree ...consent is still a problematic issue in most cdramas I've watched and we all want to watch a drama without any raised eyebrows

I honestly felt relieved that we are talking about the SL couples. because I loved the lead couples in both dramas so much (and far too defensive of them)! So PAC: on the paying when he touched her, humour me, it made sense to me as a sum for violation of the contract. As every K will usually include compensation for violation of K terms ...so not necessarily speaking to misplaced ideas about payment for body contact

Thank you Cho Na & WandereR for such a well written and easy to read article about the TLB. I have shied away from historical c-dramas because of the length (and fear that all the hype will be deflated if I get disappointed) so I actually credit you guys for introducing me to this brand new world. In fact, I didn't finish reading the article before I started watching TLB. It's been an incredible ride and I kept coming back to this article and having 'uhuh, so that's what they meant!' moments while I watching it. Now I am afraid the bar is set too high...lol!
