Perhaps this is the gap in the market that presents an opportunity for creators in those spaces to really hustle for their voices. BL has traveled a whole trip to be able to speak so loudly in 2025. Piggybacking is not wrong, but until when?

If you come from the premise that teasing is bullying and therefore abuse, then this series will have dark undertones. Sometimes the background music even suggests this. That may explain why many are struggling to get into it, because essentially Hiro is dating his abuser. He's telling us he's getting revenge, but endgame may not be the case. So, how to overlook all that without performing lobotomies?
