Poor Naka Riisa, her husbands are always cheating on her XD Maybe I'll give this a shot!

I originally wasn't going to watch this drama but right now all the eps are on YouTube so I said why not. This drama is your typical feel-good romantic comedy; the story itself is not too innovative but it's a fun plot. YamaP and Kame make a great comic duo, they are so funny! The female lead is quite annoying though, in the first 5 episodes she looked like melancholy personified. Overall, I'd give this a watch if you enjoy Kame or YamaP (or both haha!)

J-dramas have definitely been impressive these last few years! This was an amazing watch, definitely recommend

Sadly I'm incredibly bored... I've had this drama in my watch list for over a year and it took me so long to finish because the storyline wasn't exciting enough. If you are looking for a good detective drama, there are way better ones out there. I watched this for MatsuJun but I wouldn't recommend it :/

This drama was really good, so dark and twisted; each episode had me on the edge of my seat. Definitely a crime drama worth the watch

Adding on to 6; when literally none of the characters address a protagonist being toxic AF in a relationship... and the guy runs back to the girl after doing the absolute most (cheating, lying, stealing you name it) and basically forces her to take him back... so annoying and t o x i c D:

Title Revenge Girl Spoiler
Plot seems similar to Legally Blonde?
No, Legally Blonde was about a girl who at first wanted to get her boyfriend back, but realized she was intelligent and had the talent needed to become a great lawyer. Plus, she broke down preconceived notions that blondes are just dumb sorority girls who care about shopping.

Judging from the plot summary and trailer, Revenge Girl seems to be about a girl who literally enters politics to beat her ex in an election because she's used to getting everything handed to her despite her horrible personality. I don't even think she cares about what politicians actually do. I've seen some of Mirei's works and imagining this character with her voice has put me off from considering watching this lol. Maybe her "revenge" will be re-inventing her personality and becoming a good person?

Lol I'll get off my soapbox. I've loved Legally Blonde throughout the years and it's one of those movies I feel that a lot of girls can relate to. It gets better with age too!
*I put this behind spoiler because it's long and kinda off-topic*

Uhh thank you so much for your input, you just saved me from watching this drama! I hate plots like that, especially…
Yeah, Eita's character (and his story line) saved the show for me. If cheating is involved I'll like the story if it involves retribution of sorts, but when one side is cornered into continuing a bad relationship it always comes off as pure toxicity to me :/ I'm glad I could help!!

Such a great list, Suzuki Nobuyuki caught my eye in "AnaSore"; he is sooooo fine omg! Also Higashide is bae too! It's so weird because in the past I was used to fangirling over the older actors, but all these new ones are close to my age hahaha

That was a good drama, I felt so bad for Nishiwaki never getting the chance to ask Azumi why she lied. Can someone clarify why Nishiwaki was so upset that Tatsuya came into the room? Was she with the guy she was having an affair with?

I agree, and she pretty much made a nice guy become insane with her obsession. That part was hard for me to watch,…
I thought about it but I wasn't sure how I would dissect the show without posting spoilers D:
On I Love You Just a Little Bit Nov 25, 2017
I'm stuck in a place between dissatisfaction and perplexion. This drama had good cinematography and music, but the story was soooooo sub-par. I don't think it's worth the watch even if you are free and bored like I was.

Mitsu's character is probably one of the most annoying female leads of a Japanese romance drama ever (I personally think she takes 2nd place after Saeko-san from Shitsuren no Chocolatier). Her main concern was falling in love with her 'soul mate' who she designated as Arishima, a classmate from middle school. She held up that belief from middle school all the way until her late-twenties. I think she blindly held onto her middle school dreams because Arishima left the day after she wrote him a love letter; he essentially left her hanging for years. It's amazing that even after they met the second time, Mitsu didn't care to know how Arishima changed over the years (besides physical appearance...) or what his job even was. As soon as she met him, she immediately claimed it was fate and BAM she starts sleeping with the dude after maybe 2 hours of shallow conversation. I like to think about signs and fate too, but if this really had been fate Mitsu, you would have married Arishima and you would have actually fallen in love properly. She's kind of pitiful if you think about it this way :/

Arishima is a horrible person too because I honestly believe he was just looking for someone to fool around with, and he never actually harbored real feelings for Mitsu. He saw Mitsu's blind belief in fate as an opportunity for a fun affair. He didn't even remember Mitsu gave him the four-leaf clover in middle school. For someone who was so happy to have a baby, you'd think he would have thought twice about starting an affair during the time his wife went back to her hometown to give birth. No truly good father would put his family on the back burner like that. And towards the end when the wife was showing signs of seriously leaving him, he constantly tried to appeal to her by mentioning the good memories of the past and showing how much he loved their baby. I wish she didn't take him back because he really took her for granted.

If anything, the drama would have been 10x better if both Mitsu and Arishima were unhappy in the end; it would have been a really good way to emphasis the saying "you reap what you sow".

The synopsis kinda turns me off so can someone spoil the ending for me?
It was a super lukewarm ending.

In the final episode, Mitsu runs off to find Ryota thinking he's suicidal; turns out he wasn't and they finally divorce after talking about their relationship. Arishima and his wife Reika stay together even after he cheated on her.

Ryota was looking at a wedding hall with a woman for work (he works at an interior design company) and Mitsu happens to see them together so she's under the impression that he's getting re-married a year after their divorce. Mitsu's living alone and her new lifestyle is very similar to her life with Ryota. The only satisfaction the audience gets is seeing everyone doing 'better' than Mitsu who's alone, but still the drama dragged us through this whole story for a sub-par ending :/
