Title Something Just Like This Spoiler
The only thing I do not like here. It is not XiXi father, but reaction to him by other characters. His character…
Yes I didn't like the progress with Xi Xi's father. Maybe it's got something to do with Asian thing that end of the day, you can't ever hate your family. He was forgiven too easily and I cringed so hard when he constantly slapped himself in front of her daughter. I'm like c'mon now! Stop manipulating her! And just like that Xi Xi forgave him. And he had the audacity to demand so much money for his talent when he isn't a renown musician at all! He was a nobody who went away for 20 long years and still a nobody when he came back! Geeezz. I mean relatable tho. Music is such a niche industry. Not everyone makes it. I stand by my words though that He wasted so much time on this fruitless job.

I also do not enjoy Ran Ran's nepotism. It's been bothering me that he kept pushing for Yuan Yuan to be the top billing in Rui and I know he means well, but as Xi Xi argued they can't just put all the resources onto her when they have other talents who deserve recognition too!

First ever realistic business oriented Asian drama (saw almost all Korean, Chinese and Thai business dramas, do…
I agree with you! And this is probably why I am hooked to this show even though romance has taken a back burner. It's interesting to see the world of live streaming turning into a business and how much effort goes in the background. My heart legit went all so soft during Ran Ran and their finance analyst's scene when he stopped the Perfect Blue's vehicle for Ran Ran. And Ran Ran told him after, they won't have to stop someone's vehicle ever again! I'm like oooooooffff! No job is ever easy!

Anyways! Very likeable characters. I like how all girls here are not trying to up each other but have different set of goals of their own. And I am so much in love with Xi Xi! She is so so good. I love her as a leader. She stands by her words and is fair with her employees. Giving each one of them a time to shine. And I like that she didn't cower and lower to Ran Ran's level when He became so petty and tried to provoke her for losing the title from her. Anyways I just love her so much!

Ran Ran's ex is amazing too. I thought she would be this beech acting a know it all but she is fair and wants the best for her talent.

I don't think this script have any obvious plothole, hehe...
Mentioned? The drama literally showed it; I think that is enough to make one conclude about it. Just like when the characters in Episode 10 were wondering how they were able to time travel under different circumstances, the drama did not literally mention the cause, but we could draw conclusion just from the drama's direct English title (Want To See You), the scenes that trigger the time travel, and the message on their rings that the cause of time travelling was their strong will to see that person again. So strong that it can defy logic and time.

Who sent the tape - Li Zi Wei in 2019. He's had it since 2003.

I don't think this script have any obvious plothole, hehe...
1) What causes the time traveller to go back to their own time - either the host's body is dead or their sleep is interrupted. Sleep interruption - we've seen it happen to Huang Yu Xuan and the psycho. Dead host body - Li Zi Wei woke up from a coma because Wang Quan Sheng died from the plane crash and Huang Yu Xuan woke up from her sleep after Chen Yun Ru's suicide.

2) Time conversion - I'm not sure how much time passes when they travel but I don't think that matters. Li Zi Wei was in a coma in 2003 hence he could stay in Wang Quan Sheng's body from 2010-2017 without interruption. The psycho could only stay in 1998 because he got interrupted twice. Same case with Huang Yu Xuan. She could only stay in 1998 because she got interrupted by the bus driver in Episode 2 and by her friend in Episode 7.

3) First occurrence of time travel - To me, it does not have a beginning nor end. The drama might have started off with Huang Yu Xuan time travelling from 2019 to 1998, but I always think about the noodle joke and I think that's what the show is trying to tell. It was a Möbius strip. It was an infinity loop. No beginning nor end. They're stuck in that vicious loop.

RE: Why Huang Yu Xuan was unable to have control over Chen Yun Ru's body - The walkman was severely broken. It got partially fixed but she used it broken. So she did not go all the way back, but got stuck somewhere instead, in that blue house that Chen Yun Ru was in which pushed Chen Yun Ru out of it. When Chen Yun Ru died, Huang Yu Xuan tried to get that walkman fixed again only to be told that it was irreparable. She thought the walkman was the time travelling tool. When she put the tape in the player of her car, she had managed to time travel again and had fully taken over Chen Yun Ru's body. So the tape was the time travelling tool and you actually needed a player that worked well for a time traveller to successfully go back or travel forward in time.

- Did LZW find out about time travel, and how to do it, from HYX when she's in CYR's body? Then HYX's first time…
Sorry for the late reply. Regarding Huang Yu Xuan in previous time travels, I had assumed that she went on with life after Chen Yun Ru died and her soul went back to her original body in 2019. Her memories did not get wiped out. As we have seen what happened after she woke up, She went to see Chen Yun Ru's uncle, crying to him that she was unable to save anybody. She lived through the pain for the rest of her life. Her timeline moved on without the trio. Hope this makes sense?

To me there is no starting point. The drama started off with Huang Yu Xuan travelling back to 1998, but again it's a mobius strip. No beginning no end. That noodle joke is a testament to that.

1) I`m not sure I understand your first question, but Li Zi Wei knew how to act as Wang Quan Sheng because he remembered his name from 1998. Huang Yu Xuan constantly talked about Wang Quan Sheng. So fast forward to 2010, he was shocked that he had finally met the real Wang Quan Sheng. He was the host of his soul. Just like Huang Yu Xuan in 1998, he had two memories in his brain now - his life as Li Zi Wei and life as Wang Quan Sheng. Hope I answered your question?

2) Post-failed attempt: We've seen it happen in Episode 13 what happened to Huang Yu Xuan after Chen Yun Ru died. Her soul travelled forward to 2019. She was crying to uncle about it that she couldn't go back because Chen Yun Ru was dead. 2019 Huang Yu Xuan had to live though the pain that she was unable to save three people including the love of her life.

As for the loop - it has repeated once again. Chen Yun Ru died, Mo Jun Jie went to prison, Li Zi Wei flew to Canada and didn't come back to Taiwan until 2003. Li Zi Wei got into a car accident and travelled forward to 2010,etc.

Hope this makes sense? It's always constant repeat until Huang Yu Xuan figured that it was the tape that was the time travelling tool. That she could actually go back in time without using the walkman.

1) Yes. An infinite loop. A mobius Strip. Remember the noodle joke? That joke does not have beginning nor end too :) I certainly love that this drama is about the time travelling lovers and how their love is... endless and timeless.

2) In my opinion, there is only one time travelling tool and that was that specific Wu Bai cassette tape. Yes, there are a lot of the same Wu Bai cassette tapes, but there was only one existed that could make you travel in time. And Mo Jun Jie had already destroyed it. When Huang Yu Xuan gave Li Zi Wei the walkman on the beach and told him if he wanted to see her again, he would just have to listen to that song, I believe she was saying that figuratively. That tape wouldn't literally make him travel in time again to see her, but their memories lived on whenever he plays the song. He may not remember those memories, but the feeling, the longing will always be there.

Oh! But we've seen it happened with Huang Yu Xuan and Li Zi Wei too! In 1998, Li Zi Wei met the 6 year old Huang Yu Xuan while her 2019 soul is in Chen Yun Ru's body.

In 2017, Li Zi Wei and Wang Quan Sheng met just before the plane crash happened. So it is possible for them to exist at the same time.

The actual body and their doppleganger had to exist for the time travelling and inhabiting one's body to happen.

Title Someday or One Day Spoiler
At some point in the present Li Zi Wei and Chen Yun Ru's uncle say that they've been trying to figure out what's…
In my opinion it is definitely their will to see that person. Huang Yu Xuan did not travel back in time in episode 10 because she had no reason to. Li Zi Wei was right next to her. When he died, that's when she had a reason again to time travel and see Li Zi Wei. In Episode 4, she had failed attempts as well to time travel but she successfully did it after she read "He is Wang Quan Sheng". The will to see "him" became stronger.

The psycho guy def time travelled because he had the same longing - for all different, creepy, and effed up reasons yes, but he had that intense longing to see Chen Yun Ru again. He even had pictures of her that he had kept for years in his treasure box. And he's got her belongings that he sniffed and and pictures that he masturbated with as soon as he came back to 1998. *auuugh please erase this from my mind*

Read this bit for more info of how writers/director worked together and argued on the execution of the drama. Writers argued that psycho travelling for the same reason would ruin the beautiful concept of "Wanting To See You" (Someday or One Day direct Chinese title), but that's how his time travelling would make sense and be justified. https://kisskh.at/discussions/some-day-or-one-day/46677-translated-very-long-has-spoilers-interview-and-other-infos

Can someone pls explain me that the psychopath timetravelled to his brother body rather than his young self?
None of the characters time travelled and inhabited their own bodies. They all took over their doppleganger's body. Huang Yu Xuan, Li Zi Wei, and the psycho all had their dopplegangers - Chen Yun Ru, Wang Quan Sheng, and his older brother. If he had inhabited his own body, it would have been illogical in this dramaverse.

Title Someday or One Day Spoiler
1. What exactly triggered the time travel? The song, the longing feeling, or that specific tape? and was the reason…
1) What triggered the time travel - the will to see that person again. The message on the rings have been emphasized in this drama – “Only if you asked to see me, our meeting would be meaningful to me”. This is also the drama’s direct translation of its title “Wanting to See You”.

They had to incredibly long to see that person, so profound, that it can defy logic and time space. In episode 2 – that was Huang Yu Xuan’s birthday wish – wanting to see him. In episode 4, she was able to travel back in time after many failed attempts when she read in Chen Yun Ru’s diary “He is Wang Quang Sheng”. The will to travel back in time became much stronger because her lover was in that time period. In episode 10, Huang Yu Xuan was unable to travel back in time because Li Zi Wei was right next to her. She had no purpose to time travel. When he died in episode 11, the will to see him again and to actually fix the vicious loop became so strong. Same logic is applied to Li Zi Wei who travelled forward after reminiscing their time together in his car as he listened to the time travelling song. He wanted to see her again. Also that creepy psycho – his will to see the object of his obsession, Chen Yun Ru, caused him to travel back in time and see her.

This is why the ending credit, Miss You 3000, is so great. It speaks what the drama is about:

“The future technology cannot simulate the warmth of your hug. Could there be another dimension, another body, that could give us an alternate ending? Just want to see you. From past to future, I want to see you. Travelled across thousands, tens of thousands, of connected timelines and seas of people. Using all my logic and tricks to solve the toughest riddle of love.”

2) Chen Yun Ru taking control of her body – the walkman when Huang Yu Xuan time travelled this time around was broken. So she didn’t exactly go all the way back, but rather got stuck in the blue house Chen Yun Ru was in, which pushed Chen Yun Ru out of it. All this time, these characters thought the walkman was the time travelling tool. That’s why psycho destroyed it; Huang Yu Xuan was so desperate to get it fixed. When it was irreparable and she was hopeless, she played the tape on the player of her car and was able to time travel back successfully. So it was the tape that was time travelling tool. And that made her come to conclusion to destroy it, so they can break free of the vicious time loop.

3) Yes. As Li Zi Wei mentioned, he was in constant loop trying to change something. Whenever he tried to change all of it at once, the outcome remained the same – Chen Yun Ru is dead, Mo Jun Jie is in prison and then committed suicide, and he would have to time travel forward to see Huang Yu Xuan. So the cause of her death might have been different in each loop in his attempt to change something and get out of the loop.

4) This ties back to question #2. I hope it makes sense?

Also, most of the time, they were able to successfully inhabit their doppleganger’s body because they were on the brink of their death. Episode 2 – Chen Yun Ru being hit in the head, Episode 8 - Wang Quan Sheng committed suicide, and Episode 10 - the psycho’s brother “sort of” almost died from saving Chen Yun Ru from being hit by a car.

Okay, so I am watching this for the second time around, and I am starting to remember why I only gave it a rating…
1. Group Fandom is very huge in Korea and people of all ages go crazy over their idols. I understand Shi Won's actions might be over the top to some people, but for someone like me who followed Super Junior from my high school years to now, I know the feel.

2. Young Jae's broken arm was explained in the finale scene - they were taking a picture with the group and Shi Won was horsing around with Young Jae again by showing him a frog, the thing he scares of the most next to Shi Won. He jumped off the stool he was standing on and broke his arm ^^

I don't feel like that is exactly the message this show is giving. More like, beauty is from the inside, but also…
whole heartedly agree. If getting botox, new boobs, new face or entirely new identity/gender makes you happy, go for it. Change because you wanted to grow as an individual, not because people/society ask you to change. Mirae changed her outer appearance because she thinks that's what will make people to come to accept her, but what she didn't know was that she needed to love herself first and live for herself first....

And she`s slowly learning these now and see how she`s slowly standing up for herself, coming out of her shell. Telling off people what right do they have to curse at her, that she might have changed, but the people from the past who bullied her remained the trash people they were.

I'm with you and what's wrong with soo ah she acts so innocent like a psycho. And when mirae and kyung seok was…
I know they're awkwardly cute. And, "tell me, or you're not going home unless you tell me...."??????? Dude whatchuugonna do to my girl Mirae!!!! HAHAHAH.

And yeeep I was so you on how I hyperventilate in my bed while watching this series.XDD I feel like Mirae requested for large, but they probably got her the extra small. lol Just like how these a.holes didn't listen to the 3rd girl when she said she's size small, and they wrote extra small. I love how Mirae is still overly conscious of her body, but each episode we see her growth. Even if it's a dumb idea to run after your stalker, but she was ready to fight that person head on to stop him from stalking. Like, she doesn't back down no matter how low her self-esteem is.

And I don't know about how I feel about Soo Ah. I honestly could not care less about her, but after seeing preview of ep 6 and her reason why for being overly nice with this guy from SNS, her pettiness is really hitting an all time low. She legit brought back Mirae's nightmare. SMH. But looks like my girl is not gonna go down without fighting back, so I guess this is good for her character growth?

Can we talk about how cute and spazz worthy Ep 5 was??????? LIKE................

Kyungsuk might as well just straight up profess his feelings for Mirae. Out loud. Like I can't deal.

I can't stand his attraction to Mirae. I was hyperventilating the entire time. He's not even aware how attracted he is to Mirae, but I do. So freaking much. He talks very soft and warm to her, and the moment some girl (even Mirae's friend AKA the class rep who doesn't like him at all) calls his attention, he turns so cold, I legit froze.

I think I cried when when he asked "Should I take you home?" when Mirae's bus came by and she was leaving. Dude, they were talking and got interrupted by the bus! He obviously wanted to spend more time with her, that he just blurted out he wanted to take her home. He sounded so desperate to be with her.

That hallway scene tho. Again he wanted to spend more time with her, hence the question "What are your plans for the festival?". But she said she's busy. He sounded disappointed hearing that. He told her he wasn't busy tho, why?! cuz legit he wanted to go to the festival with her! But she ran off before he even got to say anything!

The classroom scene....... That one class that Kyungsuk gets to sit with Mirae. But of course I am so sure that Soo Ah, the beeeeech, planned it all and sat next to Mirae, so they don't get to sit together! You definitely cannot miss that stare he gave at Mirae before taking a seat far from her. Boy wanted to sit next to you so bad!

The bar scene.. LOL. At this point, I was so done and had no brain cells left to spazz, but Kyungsuk just went ahead and upped the game with his jealousy they're not even going out. He was pressing his lip together when he kept calling her attention, but she always gave hers to Mr. TA. Awwwwww. Boy wanted to be invited too at a party that his "future girlfriend" is going to be in.

Sucked that he lived the opposite way. Watch him have an epiphany to move out of his house and live in their neighbourhood! hahahha

I swaer, one day this boy will just explode and fess up his feelings for her - see ep 6 preview. LOL

BTW, guys do you know how to create a thread here? I kinda want us to have a thread per episode that we can discuss and spazz about! Share your ep 5 memorable scenes too! ^_^

Yeah unfortunately they're not making a separate survey for International fans :( and would have to go into their cafe to fill it out.

Hope this instruction helps, but the link is on the left side navigator, under ★ DVD -> it is 가수요 조사 * pre-survey

Once you click that "가수요 조사 * pre-survey" link, there would be some instructions in English on how to submit a survey.
