ok first time i read the synopsis i kind of got put of watching cos i could see this is not a strong female lead....she puts it on herself to change him from his ways from meth but what about the fact he left her at the alter 7yrs ago duuuuh brain....but i love the main male lead so im going to start from ep6.

I dropped flames daughter as i guess i was not into Vic Zhou ..i couldnt put my finger on why i began to dislike it so i kept reading the comments and yes saw mixed reviews by other fellow commenters. As i did not know Vic Zhou I could not picture him as a lead....the other 2 leads i knew and could picture them as leads however it seemd that Vic of all the male leads is supposed to pass as the real romancer of female lead. I felt he did not suit that role I dont know why....sorry if I do not make sense. All in all i saw that many loved him in this role but i could not. Maybe through watching MARS my criticism of him would leave.

I am just watching this drama and I am hooked i love the acting and story and the 2 main leads ....i am now a new Vic Zhou fan because of this.... that i am now going to start Flames daughter again with a new found respect for his acting

I am watching MARS 2004 and wow...i am his new fan ....dont get me wrong i am watching The Flames Daughter and I just liked him ,as that is the first time I had seen him but wow from watching MARS everything about his acting is a 10. I will now watch Flames daughter with new eyes and respect for him
