I hope they don't screw up the palace politics with the actual sects. And don't screw up OP Tang san, with a p**** (No offense to whoever the actors are), I am more worried about storylines for life actions, as they usually fail with CGI power levels.
I hope they don't make it into romance and family/school drama issues lol, MC never cared about it in his road to immortality in novel or adaption. He has very little romance with nangong-wan, and one concubine( who I believe he never was interested in). I hope they can show power-levels properly, and breakthroughs in cultivation, as dramas usually fail to show that.
Unlike most Wuxia that get entangled with all the misunderstandings between leads (and most are stupid misunderstandings) and distrust, this one gives brings a fresh breath in the space. Also, another thing I really liked was the parents (Lin Ruo Han) understanding her kids and their path in life as well(Usually the parents are always made the culprit). There were a ton of subplots, with both happy and sad endings. And I am glad for one they only had two supernatural things really in the whole drama(the pill and the worms) which kept the storyline on track, or I usually get very lost when new items get added.
The only drawback I see really is some things were dragged a little too long(45 ep), and could have been sped up(30ep).
Crying at 34 , nooooo . i am at 22 and i am kinda content . if ending sucks i will not continue watching this because the leads have to live , the princes has almost died 4 times. you still have till 54 , let us know how you think .
This Drama is just deserving . You must watch this Historic Drama . Love the strong female leads . Love the Main cast , Both Su Zhe , Ni Huang were awesome . Ending is JUST just
Although coming from the Anime, the hammer does seem very down key, honestly, this exact seen in the anime is far entertaining.
