ehhhh, was great till ep 26, I'm at ep 28 and it's a struggle... it lost its soul for me, it just feels like it's stretched out so bad... I wish they wouldn't have made it 40 episodes... probably gonna drop it now, it feels so cheap now.

that's kind of a weird reasoning, as specific genres cut off male audiences anyway, like romance is mostly consumed by females yet it keeps being produced as there are plenty of girls on this planet who loves that stuff. I think it's still more about the lack of acception to show queer stuff on tv, I wish it wasn't like that, it's getting better slowly, but I think just about every country is still slow on that... still a bunch of Asian content still has significantly more gay stuff than any other part of the world from what I've seen.

I haven't watched the show yet, but the sentiment in your comment is nice! I think it's actually true for straight and well... all people, I think everyone does think about relationships a bit different, and feel different emotions even just a bit, which I think is often forgotten.

I remember watching this and until they got together, the acting was actually very decent! And after that... I'm pretty sure one of the mains could not take the role seriously from there on, I think I even saw him smile and cringe while trying to act being in love... very disappointing, I dropped it right there and then. I love the troupe of bad guy and good girl/guy, what felt similar was "history make our days count", do you guys know anything similar?

You!!! HOW COULD YOU?? I'm fed up with the romance industry being filled with snotty teen brat faces! I love older guys!! And because of the people like you they do not cast them to romance shows and I'm so sad! Yes, I do want to see him in romance so so much!

(Also maybe A Beautiful Mind is closer to this category as well, I like the guy, though the drama itself is a bit lacking in writing and romance.)

haha funny you wrote, was just about thinking of rewatching this drama because I miss the guy from it! I think only one guy came close to this, he is in Live Up to Your Name which is also in a similar time zone. I love the actor Kim Nam Gil, he IS good looking tho haha, but I don't consider him the usual pretty boy and he is a bit older too, his characters and acting are great I think. I'd also recommend his other dramas: The Fiery Priest, Bad Guy. But yeah, I wish I knew more dramas with main guys with more charm and quirk rather than pretty face.

so I have no idea why Parker Mao is in this drama, but omg thank the heavens he is, he is the only thing keeping this thing together. Everyone else is underacting, the writing is very weak too, he is too good to be in this wth TTvTT I skip almost every other scene where he is not there, he is too good of an actor for this, I hope he'll get into better dramas in the future, he deserves it so much!!
