This drama is overrated. It's one of my list that I endure watching till it ends cause it started good.
stringfan. I did too. lmfao. But hey, at least we know the extent of a horrible drama. Nothing compares to Heirs, even W was a LOT better than Heirs. W could just be the drama you can watch if you have nothing else to do, or just want something to play in the background. It does have a unique concept.
I really liked the name of the drama so i started watching it. Characters, Gong Myung and Key make it funny. I…
Yes yes! She's like that typical female character that's like guilliable or naive, typically bubbly, won't know if people are talking behind her back she's focusing on impressing them and stuff. The usual female lead in MANY MANY shoujo animes, to be honest. Like, I mean, she didn't really get mad Jinyi and Jinwoong when they threw her under the bus to take the blame of confronting Jin Jeongseok about faking his graduation from Seoul University.
This wasn't an episode reserved to explaining the concept nor answering the questions viewers had after W finished, it's going in depth of the making of W, in production and filming. I found it very enjoyable, how the actors got to talk about the other actors and their characters, witness how they overcame and executed harder obstacles (i.e., the freezing of time when Kangchul realizes he's a cartoon character) and the NGs! I found the drama decent but I like the characters and the actors very much.

I am feeling that too. But when it comes to things like this, I feel like the character's written that way. Hopefully it gets better, I am waiting for her booming popularity as an instructor.

stringfan. I am the type who will often think about how it ends and have to go through all of it, despite ie being bad. Give it a shot if the actors are amazing enough to help you keep grounded. I mean, that's exactly how I stuck through to watching Heirs.
to be honest I felt little disappointed by this drama... When I started watching it was sooo good, so unpredictible…
I know there is; vampire dramas are a thing too but I don't like the cliche of vampire romance stories. And I never said "fiction" can only be good with sad endings. W is the type of fiction that needs a sad ending, because I don't see how Kangchul can ever live in the real world - Yeonjoo would be sad without him, hence sad ending for the romance part.
I liked the ending but... I have so many questions. I wish it would've been at least 15 minutes longer to explain…
I don't think Kangchul's a hacker? He gets his way a lot, mostly cause he's smart and has close ties with "God". lmfao. He can't really ask Yeonjoo to make him an identification in the real world. Weeps. Plus, Yeonjoo is not an excelling doctor.

I know right! The concept was already interesting enough and South Korea doesn't seem to have a handful of dramas related to fantasy (they sure need it cause I //love// fantasy). I think when it approached to the ending, the writers gave us the ending that everybody wants. I think I heard Lee Jongsuk said he wanted a sad ending.
WOW DAYUM, this movie kept me on edge and made me feel emotional. I was upset the main cast didn't survive together, but at the same time I am glad it was unpredictable. I thought Sooan might be like Clementine in the Walking Dead (game) and carry the baby from Sungkyung like with Rebecca's baby, nonetheless I am happy they survived together and the army men concluded they're survivors.

Plenty of times in many fictional stories, people can recreate an identity but mostly rich people have that access and I don't see how Kangchul or even Yeonjoo can get a hold of that chance. Eek. I guess he can somehow find a way to live. ;;
THAT PREVIEW AT THE END OF EPISODE 4 WITH MINHO EEK. MY INNER SHAWOL IS CRAWLING OUT. Gah, but does anyone feel like Minho will be playing /that/ Minho that Jinyi's dating? Like a lot of actors in this drama has their real name embedded into their character. It'd also be a strange twist for Kibum to visit the academy and see Minho there, since they went to school together. "Why are you here, man?" "To see my girlfriend of course!" But I mean, it might be just my hopes on wanting Minho back around again longer. He really fits goofy characters like Yoon Taeoh in Because It's The First Time.
This drama, it isn't bad. But I didn't like it either. Many would say that they cried, that it had a sad ending. I personally can't declare it as a drama with a sad ending because I never felt sad. Don't get me wrong, death is sad and unfortunate, but I never once felt my heart drop from any of it. I think it has to do with the fact that Shin Joonyoung was going to die, it was inevitable, it's a terminal illness. It was too predictable at many parts. The pacing of the plot felt like it was going nowhere at all, no resolve. It was like, here it is, just suck it up and deal with his death. I wish they hid his illness until towards the end so it was unexpected, so it means he hid his illness from the people he loves and to the viewers. I also could not pity Shin Joonyoung cause I did not grow attach to his kind of character. I am just "it sucks you have an ilness. I wish you the best" rather than "fUCK YOU DID NOT DESERVE IT". I wish the writers made him more likeable. But ehh. I think they should've done somehing between Noeul and Yoon Jeongeun, bringing a resolve to what happened many years ago, bringing the tears, the resentment and despair out of that part. It would've made a great addition. But nothing. Putting her in jail was a little vain. It was only Jitae who cared to put her there to serve time cause Jeongeun commited a crime to the woman he loves but yet he can't be with her, even if Joonyoung died. lmfao.
Interesting IU's character slipped into a world where she has an identity. Compared to W, Oh Yeonjoo was nothing and she had nothing to protect her. Haesoo is highly born so she would have protection, a place to stay and people she trusts.
IU's character has more realistic reactions for someone who is thrown in the past and finds herself with a completely…
I agree. She would have fit in easier if her past life self had managed to watch a few historical dramas but it seems she would be too unfortunate to even afford television.
The first chest touching scene was fine, because she was caught up in the act of touching him and she was trying to clean up the blood. But all the scenes after that, it started getting annoying. Oh my god. I have a headache now.
