First of all he went back in time so many times before because he doesn't understand why the door is the only thing in color (which we now know is the connection from future him to save da hae) and he thought it was meant for him to save his colleagues. After a lot of tries he realized it was useless however that feeling of being useless kept hounding him and brought him to the past all the time even when he doesn't want to. He can't control his feelings hence he can't control his power. It's not like he chooses to keep abandoning his wife, at some point he can't control it anymore. His wife died mostly because she was shocked by I na's power too. If you don't like romance and just want to see normal time travel then you don't have to watch this since it has been promoted as romance and family drama since day one anyway

i think what you point out as plot holes are just your preferences to the story and the script that you want, however if we apply your preferences to the story then it will become the plot hole because what you want to happen is not in line with the time travels mechanic that the writer used hence it will create a plot hole (that contradicts with the story). I don't think you truly understand the mechanic in place or what the people in comment section is telling you but oh well

this is so goooddd the music, the plot, the acting, the aesthetic!!!! so good i'm actually happy they made it into 12 ep if it was longer by dragging gwiju return to the past i would've been bored and dropped it. the way i cried every episode gaaahhh

hmm i have to kinda disagree? in one and only despite the lead not being able to show their love at all especially the ML the yearning and chemistry is very thick and that drama didn't even have a kiss scene if i remember correctly. ig the conclusion i got from this is that i judged chemistry based on how i'm reacting to the loveline, there are cases where the drama is written properly and acted properly but i still feel like they're just business partner at the end of the day skjssks ofc everyone way of judging chemistry differ and every opinion in this comment section is valid. as long as the drama is good and proper sometimes chemistry doesn't matter hahahah

absolutely one of the best drama of last year for me (mostly because there are not a lot of good drama last year) it's very romance heavy and the age gap is tackled nicely

tbf zhou yu tong makes every cp work she was also amazing with wu lei, now that you say that i guess with better script and acting from the co star influence his chemistry as well?

yeah i don't even have high expectation for this drama (cause i've seen yang mi's acting a lot before) but i'm still surprised by how quickly i'm dropping this. GJ is sooo natural in WoH but in anle and red moon he was kinda "awkward"? idk how to describe it but i can feel like he's acting from a script? skjsksj

something that i realized after watching a few GJ dramas, he has way better chemistry with a male actor. like the only 2 dramas of him that i managed to watch until the end was word of honor and advance bravery (yes despite the wack ass edit and weird animation)

not life changing but quite entertaining enough in these dramaland drought. very classic yu zheng drama

yup drew me in as well however that balance is very much falling to melodrama in the 2 episodes this week which is giving me qot flashback sksjsk

i don't mind melodrama i quite enjoyed both this and qot but personally looking at the progression of the 4 episodes towards the end all i can say is it's giving me qot flashback which in fact quite disappoint me a bit nevertheless just like lr the cast is perfect and the acting plus chemistry is god send so i will still finish it

also on your last point even is that was not how it ends for me with the whole reset so it never happened is already a bad writing, more like lazy? but that's just how i feel sksjks

he is probably number 3 but because he's the crown prince (born out of empress) he is out of the "age based number" title prince, also it seemed like he's the only son of the empress so it's only natural that he became the crown prince
