i believe it is the name of the state (old cities or old province) in Thailand, the four concubines were sent from 4 different states (cities) in Thailand. I think Thailand used to be consists of many small states and the biggest/strongest one was Ayutthaya. Now they are the names of provinces/cities in Thailand #CMIIW
