It's impossible according to common sense, after all when ML was with paval how old is he. Either the sub wasn't…
It's possible that the order of events and the sequence of scenes shown, are different. Like when they showed number 88 with the real Hyun Jin, he looked quite clean and well looked after (he was shown with a brighter and lighter ambience, compared to when the orphanage scenes are shown in a more heavier tone) [am i reading too much into this??], and the mother even allowed a picture to be taken and for them to hang out and stuff.
Keep in mind that all the flashback scenes we are seeing are in fragments, so we don't really know which of these events happened first and which of them happened after.

My thoughts are exactly the same!!
It's also possible that before the real Hyun Jin was able to go into surgery she died and so there was no need for number 88 anymore and so they tried to get rid of him. As Pavel told Soo Hyun that it was his "dad" that ordered his murder.
I'm soo looking forward to this week's episodes. The way everything is just going soo fast!!

I think it's highly possible, the numbered kids are being bred for their organs. The wheel chaired guy said that he was just an old man who's afraid to die. This would mean that he would use the organs of those kids to implant into himself to stay alive and healthy. As even Do Jaehwan and the other guy said the kids are being looked after carefully to make sure they are healthy/compatible.
Remember when Hyun Jin was talking about her time at the orphanage she said that the numbered kids had special treatment compared to the non-numbered kids. And even in the current orphanage it was shown that the numbered kids were receiving some form of intense medical routine checks, like blood tests and pills.

I think the boy in the picture of the wheel chaired guy is different to that of Soo Hyeon. Cuz the same kid was shown in the current orphanage as number 138? They are different kids.
Also the subs were a bit confusing.. but how i interpreted it as (with my some knowledge of korean) when the man and woman were talking, they mentioned soo many people at the same time, but they could have meant whether number 88 knows that he's living with the daughter of the man that's responsible for all this???
But then again i could be wrong.. But one thing is certain. all the numbered kids were a result of artificial insemination. and we can assume Seul Gi was one of the numbered kids too.
Seems like I am in the minority but I absolutely loved the first two episodes of the drama. The "bad" English…
I agree with you!! I am really liking this drama so far! And to be honest, i have heard worse english accents in dramas before, so compared to those, i think Jang Ki Yong's is pretty good.
ep 2 and i kinda not enjoying the drama. dong wook's character is bland and in ah's character is a typical dumb…
Dong Wook's character is meant to be this socially awkward lawyer who knows nothing apart from law.. But a lot of his feelings are shown through his expressions, especially his eyes.
In Ah's character does come across as a dumb actress at first, but in later episodes it shows that she is actually quite smart and has the motivation to learn and improve. She redeems herself after a few episodes.
It's one of those easy watch dramas, that you don't need to pay much attention to. Before you plan on dropping it, give it a chance til ep4. I stayed on cuz Dong Wook and In Ah have insane chemistry!!
That trailer got me hyped!! Jang Ki Yong looks really hot here!! Giving me some major feels! Nana was my After School bias, and i'm looking forward to see her in a lead role! And of course OCN never disappoints when it comes to thriller/mystery!
how long do we still need to wait just to see him as the main lead!!!....or am i the only one who thinks he is…
I AGREE!!! it hurts my feels soo much to see him as the 2nd lead or the antagonist (which i don't mind cuz he makes a great bad guy). But i really hope after he comes back from the military, he receives drama offers where he''s the main lead!!
does this drama have any romance in it? Looking for a non romance drana.
There is a hint of romance, well more like subtle flirting. but it's not part of the main plot. Give it a go! It's a pretty fast paced drama (for me at least).
i am a binge watcher too! and i soo agree with ads! they ruin the fun of it all (thank goodness there is adblocker for that).
For dramas that have like 30+ episodes i try to watch them over the summer, when i have more free time. But i agree there are soo many chinese historical dramas that i want to watch but they are always too long!!
Such a good article to read, i'm going to give this drama a try. I'm one that stays far away as possible from the 'horror' tag. But after reading this article i do want to give it a go.
what I think is, that 'doctor' could actually be a patient, and so was pretending to be a doctor.. if…
Same here!! I think they may take the 'they were transferred/went overseas' approach. Or in Jang Hyuk's character's case.. early retirement is also possible.
This was so intense and fast paced!! Loved every moment of this drama! Kim Young Kwang and Lee Shi Young were amazing! Key and Kim Seul Gi were great too! Can i just say the sound track is killer, it definitely fit well with the drama.
The ending left me with so many questions though, wish they tied up the lose ends a bit better. I don't want to live with a false hope for a season 2!!! T_T
Yang Se Jong seriously deserves an award!!! He seriously stole the show for me!! Really looking forward to his…
alright, have fun!! Just a warning though.. ep 1-6 may at times seem a bit slow and draggy (it felt so for me) and there are many parts that will annoy you (again it did for me) but after that it picks up and i found myself unable to stop watching!
