Wow thank you so much for this list! I hardly ever watch Japanese dramas and only recently started to find some that I like. Most of the ones you mentioned I haven't heard of so I'll check them out and add them to my PTWlist. I only now about Shogun, I really want to watch that one soon :)
"Jumong" is indeed a very long sageuk but you should really give it a try, I think it's worth it. ;)
I think I will watch it for the Historical K-Drama Challenge! :) When I made this list I really thought these were too many episodes to watch, but last year I was able to watch Story of Yanxi Palace, Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace, and Yi San, which all also have so many episodes. I realized, if it's a good drama than it's definitely not too difficult to watch :)
