So I've watched a few more shows with Choi Jin Hyuk. It seems like he can only play the abrasive character type.

And he is starting to annoy me here too. Which sucks, because the show as such is pretty decent so far and the FLs are great.

At EP7 right now, and they are really doubling down on making the exbf look like a total loser. :)

I can't get away the feeling that ML is emotionally manipulating the FL.

It's like he's constantly playing the push and pull game. One episode he's pissed for things not going his way and blames her for it. Next episode she apologizes for things not going his way and he is suddenly the most understanding man out there.

Yes, she is very reserved and cautious in regards to romantic relationships. But he should be aware of that by now and just fcking chill. Just be there for her, not try to force things.

In EP9 why did she go out on a full moon night? There was no need for her to risk exposure of her affliction.

Oh god, not the childhood trope. I don't know why writers resort to it. It's so lame.

Another drama with Choi Jin Hyuk as lead. And just as in The Tunnel I find him utterly unlikable. It's this aggressive, rude, snarky character type I just can't stand. But I guess it fits him as an actor. I don't find him convincing when he has to act gentle and caring.

Watched the first episode. Not sure how I feel about it. The reincarnation thing seems cheesy, like save scumming through a game.

Yeah, EP9 was great. I wonder how they'll stop Lee Se Na, if at all.

I think FL would have left if it wasn't for her son. It's all about protecting him, everything else is secondary.

I don't like how Yi Heon suddenly became corporeal for story reasons. I wish they would have handled it better, maybe allowed him to posses his own body under some specific conditions for a short period of time (during full moon or whatever).

Still a good show though.

There are so called Folk Villages. Many residents are farmers carrying out a traditional lifestyle, but nothing like depicted in this show afaik. They are all open to tourists. Some have extra staff for traditional cultural performances.

Same here. But it seems to work for a lot of viewers, so more shows for me to skip in the future I guess.

What the hell did I just watch? So he essentially sees her as an escort, pretend marriage and sex but no feelings otherwise. And she'll go along with it? That's some f*cked up shit.

I also get occasionally frustrated by some characters. But then I think about how boring it would be if every character was perfectly reasonable and rational.

You are expecting someone who suddenly aged over night to act reasonably? She is in total disbelief due to the absurdity of the situation.

I agree about some highest rated dramas. There a many mid-rated dramas I like. But which worst-rated dramas did you enjoy in particular?

At episode 6 now and I am enjoying it. It feels like a homage to classic mystery. And you even have one of the main characters mentioning Christie and Doyle. :)
