It was entertaining, I guess. It's not great (especially if like me you've watched the anime/read the manga) but I wouldn't say it's the worst adaptation ever. It just felt as if there was something off the whole time, like something wasn't right. Also, I'm more of murder cases than kidnapping so I guess that's another reason for me not enjoying it as much lol. I have to say though that I'm so glad they decided to go with Shinichi before he became Conan, otherwise it could've been horrible lol. I really liked having a AND THIS MIGHT BE A MINOR SPOILER OF THE END BUT NOT REALLY SINCE IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ACTUAL PLOT OF THIS EPISODE sneak peek at the end of Ran and Shinichi as well as the detective kids. END OF POSSIBLE SPOILER.

Overall, I'd say that if you haven't watched the anime/read the manga you could give this a try and then go watch the anime/read the manga. If you have watched/read Detective Conan and don't know whether you should watch this or not... unless you love this series with a burning passion maybe you can skip it and watch something else since it has nothing to do with the actual plot.

I was bored one afternoon and all of a sudden I was already finishing the second episode. I guess it's an entertaining show with an adorable male lead but I don't think it's particularly good. The storyline is pretty cliché (usually the boy pursues the girl but I mean cliché as in girl who pursues boy storyline, idk if it makes sense) and 2/3rds of the characters are a little bit annoying but I'm going to watch the next season so maybe it's not bad at all. If I had seen who the female lead was I wouldn't have started it because I hated her in Kiss Me Again, but I don't know if it's her acting or the characters she plays. At least now I'm even more excited to watched The Gifted after seeing Nanon! I'm sorry, this review wasn't useful at all. I haven't watched the baker one but if you haven't watched Puppy Honey I'd suggest to watch that one instead.

I had a lot of fun watching this drama but after a couple of chaebol dramas (including this one) I realised that they don't work for me, even though Ji Heon wasn't super annoying (well, he wass a bit annoying but not because of his money and position). Anyways, the characters were pretty likeable and I really liked the friendships that were formed NOT THE ROMANCE. It's not that none of the couples didn't have chemistry but, especially the secondary couple, they felt a bit forced and only necessary because ''this is a Korean drama and someone needs to be in a romantic relationship''. I still recommend it because it lived up to the expectations that I somehow created in my head after watching the Running Man episode where Choi Kang Hee and Ji Sung appeared to promote the drama (the episode is also called 'Protect the Boss' hehehehe).

I saw the promotional poster for this drama and I read the synopsis and thought: "wow, I'm really going to enjoy this". I started watching it and the first couple of episodes were so good so I was convinced that I was going to finish it very quickly. One day I searched the title on Twitter and found many negative reviews as well as tweets of people saying that they had dropped it. At the time, I didn't understand why. NOW I DO. I genuinely thought this was going to be at first a bit dramatic story but then it would turn out a fluffy drama but but but ???? You would think (at least I would) I am that an over-dramatic plot means that there area lot of things going on but nothing ever really happens??? I'm sorry, I don't really know what I'm saying. I'm just too frustrated because I started watching this drama in January and I haven't been able to finish it because it's just so boring and the supporting characters are soooo annoying (what's wrong with that second lead? I want to punch him on the face) and selfish forb the wrong reasons (that's not being in love, CEO, THAT'S BEING OBSESSIVE).

I don't know if any of this makes sense but please. Just. Don't. Watch it. I'm sure there are far better love stories out there. And it's not even the actors and actresses' ffaul, it's the damn plot that's boring and doesn't make much sense.

The plot seemed interesting and I like both Park Shin Hye and Hyun Bin + it was partially filmed in Spain (yay!) and I've been to Granada, Girona and Barcelona multiple times, so I was familiar with the setting. I was SO excited to watch it, ever since the news came out, but somehow it was...boring? slow? it felt like nothing was going on and there were way too many time jumps and I just don't know. It wasn't for me and I didn't think it was worth pushing it more because that's what I had been doing since like episode 5. It had everything (minus the romance, although a drama doesn't need romance for me to enjoy it and also I didn't really see the romantic chemistry between the leads, but that's just me) so I should have enjoyed it. But I didn't lol. Definitely check it out and see it for yourself.

Stay away from this garbage!!!!

Oh man I like my weekend dramas and with Kim Jung Hyun as one of the leads I was seated from week one... but this wasn't it. Every single character either is or becomes unbearable throughout the story, even Kang Ju, who is arguably the nicest and most well-intended person of the bunch becomes infuriating to watch since those qualities eventually lead him to be everyone's punching bag (even literally lol). The grandparents, the mom and the aunt are so greedy about money which isn't theirs and feel entitled to it, but the punishment is going to jail for 1 year (the aunt doesn't even receive any sort of punishment)??? That's all that they got??? Which brings me to the mother in law, Mu Rim and his wife: annoying af (I know she's doing her job but come on she kept digging because she couldn't fathom being mistaken about the mom), lifeless background character number 1 and pretty background character number 2. And don't get me started with Kang Ju's side!!!! HIS MOM????? Ok, the money is hers but 1) it's stolen money 2) she didn't get enough flack for trying to evade taxes and 3) she left his son to get beaten in the street in order to save it???? and his dad isn't any better because as soon as his biological son showed up it was as if he had never existed, like wtf??? Tae Woong and Cha Rim were also soooo insufferable!!! They truly deserve each other. At first I could see how Cha Rim was hurt because she was neglected by her mother but she was rude towards everyone and a gold digger. And Da Rim is so meh I don't have much to say about her.
The money storyline could've been good if it had been done in fewer episodes, I don't think it was a good fit as the overarching plot. The romance between Kang Ju and Da Rim was also quite lack luster, it's like he's interested in her since the beginning but she likes Tae Woong (blegh), he starts helping her and wow she's in love!!! Plus I don't think there was much chemistry between them... but really, besides the grandparents these people didn't have it.
Anyways, this was quite frankly the most frustrating drama I've ever seen, and I'm stupid for forcing myself to finish it!!!
