Started this one yesterday. and watching ep 6 The FL is messed up and diabolical. Her parents messed her up for life. Yet, I cannot wait to see her comeuppance for the harm she has inflicted. So anyone can walk into the VIP room and take pictures of the goings on, eh? If the case it seems there would be way more scandals reported in conservative SK,
Feel good send off. Loved that the baddies got it in the end for what they did and to protect the little king.🥰👏👏👏 It was a surprise how they all came together for the deposed king including the inventor. . Yet, I wonder. Is his majesty immortal? 🤭. This is a 9/10 for me.
So glad that they addressed the Ming cook's lack of eating. That was so odd to see in all of his episodes and glad it was explained. So who tore the pages out of the historical cook book.
I hate it when they hurt children, but it's history. Thankfully we know the child becomes the next king and not the laughing grand prince.
🥹 Almost thought they would kiss when she spilled her tea.
Wow. We got the king's headbutt and grandmother coming to the rescue. What a royal tag-team.👏
The king is jealous of course and needs exercise.🤭 When she went in alone to bargain with the master craftsman on her design, he does not know love it seems. The master craftsman seeing green onions floating by after eating her cooking; I lost it. It was too hilarious. The king looking, listening and realizing that she loves and enjoys it when people enjoy eating her meals created for them. The craftsman eating her food reminding him of home, was endearing. The way to a man's heart is through his stomach. ' The royal cook fainting and awakening looking for her pressure cooker pot. LOL. Poor king.
I wonder....Will the last competition be to allow her to go home and does it have anything to do with the ripped pages from the original cook book? The king is catching on as he studies her and a tyrant, lest we forget. 🥰
Cook Maeng must show some patriotism in the end and spoil Kang's plan with the arsenic use. I cannot see him giving away victory over to the Mings as a royal chef wannabe.. Seeing a bit clearly how the purge in history per the Chef sent the king over the edge into rage and tyrant territory. Monarchies are a danger to citizens.
Men are really protectors in this drama.

See some around on the next live watch. Shalom.
Their love story is truly sweet. I bet consort Kang finds the cookbook and rips the pages out of it.
How will they get out of this mess? Next week we find out everyone's end.

I love how the eating transports them. Yeah. This is so enjoyable.
