YF and HJ rltnship is actually wrong from the start. Both party is wrong as YF said. She never really truly love HJ as a man. Probably only love as a friend. that why HZ never succeed in asking her to have a baby with him.
and HJ feeling small coz his MIl and FIL treatment to him and his eager to prove himself then take wrong path which also make him lost himself

The scene at hospital when XM went down the stair and CS wait for her is so beautiful made. CS eyes say I miss you so much and XM eyes said Im here comback for you and smile. Really satisfied with that scene.

actualy for me everytime scene CS and XM even in early episode when they are just friend i will check their eyes , how their look to each other. Its different. when they are just friend CS always look at XM with look of amaze and impress with her like his eyes would say this small girl is clever and same like me she have a dream and want to achieve it same like me. whereas others call her nurse but CS since earlier call her Doctor. The feeling is respect and he different to her.
and of course after they are in relationship or during his on the wheelchair time star of love fly out of his and her eyes. even only phonecall can show their love and how they take care of each other. The feeling is respect and love.

Yes agree. If she put CS important in her heart, she would go to CS first and discuss with and go together to GH as he got the hospital contact. but she dont do like that coz she feel CS is for fun and GH is for money. She never put CS important on that. And finally at the last episode HL agree with it, She play with two heart - CS for love and GH for stabil life. And she also say even if she go to CS and catch up the train , the result will be the same, they will not end up together as she will blame CS for making her let go her dream and opportunity for stabil life.

sure CS is everyone hero but hero for CS is XM.
Yes lesson learnt from this drama evryone is important on their own way and once you make decision dont look back and move forward. No what if thing and font give up your dream , be honest and passion for what u are doing.

The best drama and perfect ending we got here.. Long time dont feel satisfy like this.. For those who still yet to start just do it.. You will not regret.. Where dream begin or The Youth Memories is not typical drama.. It about love - all kind of love - love between friends, man , woman, familiy, love for your dream..
Never in my 30+ yrs watching c-, k-, j- drama I cry abt drama which is not abt love btwn man n wman. I remember my heart beating fast thinking abt this drama I think during CS in military.. It make me excited everyday waiting at the office for 7.3pm..

and from all drama I watch , this is the first drama that make me register for MDL account , relook my twitter haha .. it because in We TV there no chat discussion like in IQiyi.. only bullet chat
screen.. It fun here to have others who share same excitement as myself..

P/S: last regret I wish the writter dont kill DL character but i know the purpose is as trigger for CS build his factory and own produce the product instead become agent.
But then they can make DL paralyse and with the equipment he can get up again, It can be same effect as trigger point .
and DL can end up with YF.

Edit : While evryone could take CS as hero for myself - XM is my hero.. Like CS said without XM he cannot live and she is the bone. congrats Li Qin for delivered superb acting as XM, XM is opposite of herself who is always cheerful and bubbly haha. No need to praise XZ for his acting I think as of now everyone know how good he is haha.

im going to vote my favorite ep - ep 24 . Yes Ep 21 of CS train and dad room scene is the winner but I dont know why the most repetitive ep I watch is ep24 , maybe becoz of how he gets up for XM and say he true heart to XM.
and from start ep 24 , CS always hold XM hand and never let go of it, even say he would hold it forever. I remember I read somewhere here in the comment that during introduction XM n CS, he take XM hand late but hold it for so long until YF say she would charged him if he did not let go XM hand. and it feel so good when the last scene is the scene they holding hand and walk in the snow.

So, XCS mentioned that he and YGH met in 1968 when he was 11 years old and YGH was 10 years old. So . . .
December 1975 - The drama started (XCS @ age 18)
1976 - College entrance exams were reopened
1977 - XCS joins the military (XCS @ age 20)
Feb/March 1979 - Sino Vietnamese War; XCS gets injured & leaves the army (XCS @ age 22)
July 16, 1981 - XCS has dinner wtih friends for CHJ getting a job
1982 - XCS is able to walk again and starts his career in the Anti-smuggling department
1984/1985 - Don't know the exact date but XCS leaves the anti-smuggling department
1989/1990 - XCS & Xiaomei get marreid (assuming these dates because in 2001 they have a 10 year old daughter)

It show the trust and CS dependant to XM

I think scriptwriter is quite clever and tactical to retain us as viewer. In the first place before CS met HL, they show us he met XM first as library girl and met XM first in the rink that show he first attract to XM. Then he distract with HL beauty and violin talent. But they also add XM and CS interaction bit by bit which also show CS attract with XM wisdom and keep it in heart.
I think this is why us as viewer retain coz we believe in earlier ep there already have sign CS x XM so we wait till the end. Plus
during CS and HL
together there a sign that their values not compatible. If CS not injured and dismiss they also probably wont last together - HL x CS.
I think that how writers hook me in to be patient until ep 19.

And without knowing we reach ep 19 with all the military things and not so interested on HL things haha.

Writer also when XM and CS together as friend or lover put something who
differentiate their relationship and show CS love XM more. his attentiveness to XM, listen to XM story and some without bit his eyes and both each other know each other mind.
