To be honest I've never really liked the character, but I think it depends on how it's adapted, the TW version was probably the best. Her character was made endearing and I came to like her over kill obsession with Zhi Shu.

Also Ariel Lin pulled off some kind of magic with that kind of character. It's not exactly one I would look up to, but she made all the loveable things about Xiang Xin stand out.

The JP ver. is pretty much still bleh. And the lead actress is boring to say the least, she goes from underwhelming to just plain old exaggeration. I don't think age has anything to do with acting, it's the productions choice whether they want to use a 16 yr old with no experience. It's also the directors job to guide her and so far it's still that, a 16 yr old prancing on the screen trying to be adorable. Imo still plenty of eps to go so who knows.

It's okay so far, I don't the female leads acting is all that great though. She's kinda of grating. What do you think?

Ah~ Yuan Hong is so adorable! I think I read one of the weibo convo's between him and SS and omg! they're like two lovers having been torn apart. They're just soooo adorable! Even on her birthday, he waited the entire day to wish her happy birthday through an image of a tequila or something, total derpy cryptic style. Got to love those two, now if only SS would ditch Ladyboss since I have no more hope for Hu Ge.

Really? I've managed to watch upto ep 21 and subs are there. The viki version is 76 eps, I think they just uploaded it in parts that's why it looks like 100, I think they put an explanation somewhere.

Lol it's about to finish today, you can always marathon it whenever you have time. I just hope the ending is worth it.

I know that xxxHolic is currently airing, it's got 5/8 eps that have already aired, and it's really good so far. Also Itazura Na Kiss has just started to air, with 1/16 having aired so far. I've heard 'End of the World' is actually pretty good as well, haven't had a chance to check it out my self but i think that's also had 6 eps out.

I'm kinda tempted to look forward to Jang Ok Jung which is probably going to air next week i think...the hanboks are freakin' GORGEOUS! Yh so apart from my superficial reasons of hanboks and Hong Soo Hyun that's probably what I'll watch.

Tbh there's probably a ton load more dramas that are currently airing, these are just the ones I remember or am watching :)

I think the subs are a dvd rip so that's maybe why after a while they all popped up pretty fast.

The stills for BBJQ are kinda underwhelming, and LSS's hair is...fugly as hell. Whoever her stylist is has a vendetta. I think the trailer was a little better though. Nicky looks dashing as ever ^^

Hehe yep, and is a-freakin-mazing! I can't believe how I've missed out on this drama while it was airing. Sun Li, Jiang Xin and Ada Choi have suddenly bumped it up on my actors list, they are just brilliant. I can't wait until Jiang Xin's Hua Xu Yin comes out now XD There's so much intrigue and I honestly feel like I must have been living under a rock or something, the drama is so detailed about all the concubines, and you really do see why they behave the way they do. I am so glad I live in this century.

I'm watching it on viki, the subs aren't exactly top notch quality but I think they're all up there now, unless it's unavailable in your country.
