I'm loving the series so far, I still didnt grasp the storyline yet, maybe because of crappy sub. But it felt like an easy watch, like 'Pegasus'. I'm looking forward to this series<3 For me, whether it is romance or ml-centric drama, it doesn't matter as long as the storyline and the acting is good.
I'm probably watching Reply 1988 for the tenth time now. I have finished episode 18. Every time I watch the drama, I always root for Choi Taek. This time is no different, but I found myself getting emotional over Jung Hwan's unrequited love. Tears came down without me noticing. Perhaps I needed to grow up to understand his feelings. Ten years ago, I didn't appreciate his love. But this time it was different, even though I still find Choi Taek's love more exciting. The ending of episode 18 was all about Jung Hwan's love, so I rewound the video to watch the last part again. I am extremely grateful to everyone who worked on this drama for creating something so amazing for us. I am also very grateful to the translators. Without them, people abroad would not be able to enjoy this masterpiece.
I dont like how she looks like to cry at second episode. She's been described as someone fight so well but she…
What exactly do you want her to do?
Scream? Faint, curse him? shout at him? Or maybe stand there savagely staring into the void like she’s the lead in a 2005 telenovela? Be serious — that kind of reaction is pure cringe.
Just so you know, crying in silence isn’t weakness — it’s the most powerful emotional a badass woman can pull when she’s hit rock bottom. No drama, no noise — just pain hitting straight from the soul. Clearly, subtlety isn’t your thing.

Crying is a natural response to extreme fear or stress, no matter how tough someone is. Expecting fighters to be emotionless? That’s just not realistic 🙅♀️✨
Same. It's so frustrating how people put all the blame on her and say nasty things about her acting and life. Even with her upcoming drama that is so different from this, people still keep on mentioning about her no kissing contract and how she's so "unprofessional". Like the f*ck...

I mean, would you cast someone who can't swim/afraid of water play a Olympic swimmer ? Like I totally respect…
Same, it was like that most of the time and we were okay with it I don't know when did we start having people with the audacity to tell China to change their works for the sake of the international fans 😭
