this drama was literally like one of those dramas you love for absolutely no reason to me but why whyyyy were the outfits so basic for the last performace! like cmonnnnnnnn!!!!!! still love this drama tho

this drama is just like the best thing

This is the first drama in a while that makes me giddy?? I dunno if it’s just me but it’s kinda like a guilty pleasure, it feels nice

if some of yall in the comments genuinely cant see anything wrong with what's been put out then you really need to educate yourself. penthouse has done so well internationally that I'm sure the producers, directors, stylists and even the actor himself could've easily done research on what is ok and not ok to shoot. the actor himself has lived in America for a while so are you telling me he had no knowledge about how his whole character was based on CA and how its downright racist. yes its a south korean show, catered for the south korean audience but everyone knows how its done internationally, so if they really cared about the audience and the drama they are making, they would've put effort into making something better than the crap that they've given. also there are black people and black koreans that live in south korea so why couldn't the drama cater something for them. they've played on these negative stereotypes and have showed black people in a negative light whereas the whites were classy business men. and even if they hadn't had the "access" to educate themselves, how did others do it. how did bts do it. all the excuses yall give doesnt hide the fact that they've done something wrong and everyone has a right to call them out on it. now again if you genuinely cant see why it is so wrong please learn about the racism that happens in the world and understand that this isn't the first time and its not a little mistake. you genuinely need to understand that this can cause a lot of pain and hurt for people. we're supposed to moving forward in time not backwards. the drama has done something genuinely wrong. understand that instead of defending it with your terrible excuses.

this drama is really fun and light and its just nice to have this with so many of the heavy dramas that aired/are airing

I think daniel lee meant it as he thought he was a predator but was actually a genius. cos in the first episode they said the genes were very similar and the accuracy of the test was 99% meaning SYH could've been misdiagnosed??

reading all these comments makes me think that I'm the only one who is a fan of the whole brain transplant thing. granted if they're going with him suddenly having killer urges and all of yohans memories its a little meh, but the transplant itself i like. i also think that memories he thinks are yohans are actually his. also remember the face ba reums aunt made when he asked where the bird was or something in like a previous episode? shes clearly hiding something. i also am really hoping our homeboi moo chi aint dead.

its kinda sus how when rona's oxygen thingy was pulled out there was no alarm or doctors rushing in to save her. i think she somehow managed to survive and logan took her which is also why he stopped yun hui from overdosing. plus when he stopped her he was wearing gloves just like the person who "killed" rona

as a webtoon reader, i am upset, but we were warned that it would be different (although didnt know different meant seojuns scenes would be suhos *snarls*) so with that in mind ... i like cliche a lot, i also like stoopid cheesy scenes and all that, so for what i knew this drama was gonna be like, im not mad. im upset that my boi was done so dirty, but i shall deal with that pain in a bit and say, that the main couple were cute and belonged with each other. honestly the acting. hwang in yeops acting was simply amazing. i fell in love with that man more than i wanted to. also im mad at people saying cha eun woo cant act. he can! they really did seojun dirty in the last episode. i dont think i have cried like that in a while. i cried by myself when watching, and then at random parts of the day infront of my parents and brother. anyway if my boi seojun is not happy in the webtoon i will seriously leave this world and haunt every single person associated with the making of true beauty, except hwang in yeop. when it comes to him i cant do anything but fall in love deeper. thanks for reading my ted talk

imma be honest, the first two episodes, when i watched them i was interested and kinda excited. the episodes went on and i was still pretty much engaged just less each time probably because it felt slow paced at times and there were a few fillers here and there that just didnt need to necessarily(??) be there. But the concept, and the things this drama talks about (without using stereotypes!!!!) is why i finished it. the ending, i dont think i could have asked for a better one. the surprise ( but not much of a surprise) unrequited love being handled so amazingly (another drama could learn cough TB cough. jk its all love here) and the ending in general just came together so beautifully. honestly one of the best endings ive seen. this drama i guess shows you LIFE and although i am one for something Not LIFE, this wasnt a bad watch. i wish we had more of the second lead couple but im not mad because the chemistry from the main couple was just *chefs kiss*. anyway this is just a completely pointless review saying, for someone who likes things unrealistic and not slow, this aint that bad. its pretty good.

in the webtoon he left for around 2 years too

im not gonna lie, it does start off kinda slow but its intriguing at the same time so im kinda into seeing where it goes. the end of ep 2 and the preview for ep 3 really kinda make it feel like the DRAMA of the drama is about to like happen so lets wait and see i guess

yhhh PYN is such an amazing actress, especially playing characters like sooojin and the character from hotel del luna. I really hope her next project has her as a main lead or something. I want to like her characters lol.
