Yep they make it more realistic by put the social status problem these days, abusive parents, greed money, and rich previlege. On webtoon Seungcheon basically that ungratefull brat and a jerk, but in here we can see he has his own reason, and if you notice each character has their own problem and struggle
so i just watch the premiere last night on MBC. they air the highlight of the drama for 25 mins long plus behind the scene. IT WAS MORE DARK and INTENSE! The production also good and the acting too! They change few things, but Hwang Taeyong character totaly different! But that makes the drama more intense. like they highlighting the human greed. We might have a lil bit sympathy over Seungcheon but he's still a brat. But I think if you watch you can find you understand why he choose that path. I have so much to say but I will stop here hahahaha.
His redemption arc literally came out of nowhere and he never even said sorry to Young Woo
And more in season 2 we might saw him like that. Tbh eventhough he is annoying I like how he saw Youngwoo as threat because people has been seeing Youngwoo just autism and be good to her out of pity(at first), he do saw Youngwoo as autism but he is the one that never pitied Youngwoo and probably thinking Youngwoo as rival. We need those kind character and salt on tasteless food
