PMY's acting during the confrontation with Mrs. Yang's husband was amazing. The trauma and flashbacks that she felt/had, I could feel all that 100%. I think this role is amazing for PMY, and lets her show some of her talent that I'm sure many ppl thought she might not even have. The show lets her explore and bring out the best of her acting, it's really impressive.
I stopped judging how the female leads look in gender-swapped K-dramas. It's tough to pull off convincingly casting…
yes, that is a good point too! I think what bothers me more is the fact that they put makeup on her. it's toned down but it's kinda obviously a female lead's makeup style... anyway, the actress herself did well in epsiode 1, so i'm excited to see more :)
I remember hearing someone say that most actresses arent willing to look "ugly" for their role (don't know if…
i understand that looks matter (especially in SK), but this argument is so silly because they're ACTORS lmao like that's the whole point... idk i mean the lead actress still does a good job, i just wish she had less gloss on (though it is a pretty gloss)

i mean, i wasn’t criticizing the female lead (rather the make up artist maybe🤣). i quite liked what i got in ep1!! i have yet to watch The King’s Affection and Mr. Queen but i am excited for them (especially the latter)☺️
Just finished episode 1, I was too curious and caved. I think I can get behind the female lead dressing up as a man if only she wasn't wearing lipgloss... The comparison is maybe not the best, but ppl confusing the fl for a man was way more believable in Coffee Prince for example. I feel like Hee Soo still looks too pretty as a "man". Other than that, promising start...?
