can someone who has watched this let me know how the romances progresses? is it slow burn? do they hint at the…
yes, its a slow burn, and you get to see him care about her and fall for her. Their acting & chemistry is too natural and amazing and you'll feel it from ep 1 to 15, though it takes 7 episodes to get to the romance part.
Also you get to see how much the male lead cares for the female lead, once he realises his love for her which I haven't seen in most lakorns. of course there are some loopholes, drama, and misunderstandings that you see in every lakorn, fortunately this drama doesnt have any forced love, annoying second leads, or a main plot like a typical thai drama.
And the best thing you get to see is Mark and Mew's amazing chemistry and extraordinary acting skills.
Oh my god, this lakorn is so frustrating! I am on episode 6 and I don't get the plot. I don't know why we are…
yes, it might not be to your liking til end of ep 7, but the drama takes a turn from ep 8 onwards and its just too addictive from there on- more like, you get to watch something no lakorn have shown you! so it would be a waste to drop it!
Even I felt that it was unnecessary to add some drama at the end and was shocked by the sudden change in the character sketch , but the director aptly justified it in an interview, quoting 'love doesn't end with the word LOVE, love doesn't end with loving each other, but love needs understanding and confidence in each other.'
Only then it hit me, how people were used to slap and kiss thai lakorns, male leads fuming with vengeance, kidnap and forced love genres where the male lead tortures the female lead as much as possible and then boom! he realised he fell for her, he would apologize and FL would be happy that he loved her back- it doesn't even make sense.
moei wanted to go abroad for higher studies because she wanted to be worthy of thien's wife (a higher qualification/ status, as thien always said that she is not the type he would ever marry) . Also If moei doesn't leave, Thien would only look like a jerk who got his way with moei just because he wants her! This drama is like a revolution in Thai lakorn world where the FL actually has a backbone and SELF RESPECT!!! I personally felt that this message was not conveyed properly which lead to audiences misuderstanding that moei is annoying!
The story is based on a properly published Thai novel, the one in wattpad is just a fan translation. kindly change the first few lines of ur review, its misleading !
hi, for those of you who have watched this show, can someone explain the whole purpose of her hacking TPC system…
Which episode are you in? If you don't mind spoiler you can read below! Moei's company hammock merged with TPC and hammock is evaluated on their performance and it's found that hammock employees might be laid off. She can't lose her job also can't protect thien from yada.
Thada wants his company (tpc's rival) to fetch the Hong Kong building contract which thien is currently designing for TPC. So he needs Thien's data which will make thada to win the contract.
So she makes a deal with thada, who is a shareholder of TPC to vote against hammock's lay off (the shareholders of the company are involved in managerial decision making like merger - ie they can vote in favour or against a lay off.) She also wants thada to keep his daughter from bothering thien. And thada will get Thien's design in return.
Spoiler 2: she's a white hacker hired by TPC itself! Baramee and P'chet helped her to hack and Thien's original design remains with baramee and p chet while moei gives fake data to thada. The hacking was staged to to trick thada, because he'll get some other employee to hack Thien's data anyway. She doesn't tell this to thien as a white hacker isn't supposed to!
If you want you can read the novel translated into English, available in Wattpad and asianfuse thread.
someone please help on how to get the English subtitles form episode 8. I feel left out
Yeah! Watched the drama live on air and I literally died waiting for Mondays and Tuesdays! Currently, there are no eng subs for episodes 9-15 as of now! but its due to copyright issues as the drama was sold to dimsum (available only in selected countries). however every week lakorngalaxy subs two episodes per week as soon as dimsum subs it.[only 2 per week] . next 2 episodes' subs would be out within 3 days probably. Make sure to watch with subtitles. But if you are going crazy, go to youtube - there are english translations available in comments section of each episode in youtube by AnnK and Kimme locket. They are close enough to know what's going on. you can check the last part of my review above for the instagram pages that have english subbed clips of the drama and interviews. Enjoy watching the drama, its amazing !
