Nah, it would be far better without romance. The manhwa is just like you describe and its not boring at all, always keeps you on edge. Seeing the emotionless, same face FL makes me bored to death. Give me more grandpa and JDJ they are the GOAT.

Guess we're watching different drama then. She didn't marry out of ambition, she was forced by her family...multiple times was said she was in no position to say no and that's why she tried to swipe to JDJ.
The ML dies and the FBI agent goes back to US since there is nothing more holding her in korea. However in the end there is a silhouette that reminds the ML so he can be alive or can be someone similar. His team gets restored in the police force and promoted.

Despite romanticizing autism, this show is very good. I'll take one point because of that, this show is 9/10. The social struggle are top notch, thank you netflix for this show.
