Omg everyone in this drama is annoying me so much, especially the cops. I thought it would get better since I'm…
Lololol yes the cops! K-drama police tends to be dumb, but these clowns deserve a special mention. I have them on my top 3 dumbest K-drama cops this year 🥸
Also, the "drama is fictional, all resemblance to existing persons and institutions is accidental" is a staple announcement for any drama lately. What did they "win" then?
Imagine if all other institutions or representatives of different professional associations protested when a drama involved them - like the police, doctors, lawyers etc LOL.
Incredibly pathetic to use controversy to garner higher drama viewers. How ignorant do they think South Korean citizens to be if they think ALL residents will be swayed to believe ALL Korean apartment managers embezzle their collective funds? The 'controversy' with its articles & online negativity will drive higher ratings. A controversy. What better way for a viewer to tune in to see what all the fuss is about.
even if they suspect Kang Taeju, they should AT LEAST be open to other possibilities and actually investigate, instead of just trying to pin everything on him
I absolutely love the way he looks at her every single time — whether he’s jealous, whether he sees his brother touching her, when she annoys him, or when she pushes him to his absolute limits. That’s why it’s called Overdose, and that’s exactly why I love it: everything is excessive, intense, and taken to the extreme. Their chemistry is incredibly strong. They’re both so beautiful, so tall, and they match each other perfectly. Their visual presence alone has completely drawn me in. On top of that, the story is unbelievably interesting, especially the orphanage plot. It’s obvious that the old man abused Ren Su Su, the girls, and the children there, and I genuinely want him to pay for everything he did. I really want true justice for those kids. I’m completely hooked and wait every night for a new episode. Honestly, all the negative comments about the directing, camera work, CGI, or editing don’t even register for me. I don’t see them at all because I’m enjoying this drama so much. Overdose has me absolutely captivated, and I’m loving every second of this intense, over-the-top experience. 🔥🖤📺
No but seriously He Yu absolutely owned this role. He portrays every bit of Xiao Huayong to a perfection and seems so convincingly frail yet formidable. His scheming mind, his sincere heart, his yearning, his joy, everything is expressed so beautifully in his eyes and body language, not to mention he looks simply ethereal in this styling.
Kudos to the voice actor too, his voice really suits both He Yu and Huayong really well.
