I saw a tweet yesterday that said everytime korean dramas want to demonstrate a toxic person or a toxic behaviour, instead of acknowledging that this is toxic and not right, we say "actually, that person is not toxic", "they're just misunderstood", and try to make excuse for them which is clearly not even the whole drama's point. Unfortunately this mostly happens with kdrama audiences. I don't have a problem if you want to root for PJE but please stop making excuses for him saying he has truamas.

Actually I think the script and the whole drama would be a little boring if it was JUST about YD & DJ. Their story is so good but still it would feel a bit draggy and boring just having them confessing their feelings for 16eps. Also, I don't think sml is a psycho?? he isn't even the murderer imo. He's just misunderstood and have lots of emotional truamas. Gayoung's character also is not fake, I know a lot of people like her. Suicidal and depressed people often try to hide their mental problem through acting lively and trying to act like they're always ok. They seek help & love and maybe that's why she looks desperate to have friends. There's nothing disturbing about her and she's actually pretty supportive & understanding despite her being suicidal.

i'm watching it for the side ships. also i do have rights to watch it and still want to criticize their toxic relationship. so far i have seen no feelings from PJE toward nabi but yeah i think from next week they gonna show some character development bc most likely nabi's gonna end up with PJE since they're not following webtoon anymore
