Overdo is dark so not everyone is going to like it if they are not into sad/tragic storyline. For me, Overdo is a great drama. I like watching dark theme, and dark humour. Every episode is full of excitement and plot twist, which I like because it always got me hooked. As you watch each episode you will understand the plot twists and the backstory thru flashback, every reason will reveal layer after layer.

Watching overdo again. The part where Ren susu found her friend Mu Lan inside the Huo mansion was so heart breaking. Ren susu's good friend Fang Mu Lan who took her place was traumatized, abused psysically/emotionally, and grape for many years with many miscarriages too. If it wasn't for Mu Lan who offered to swap places with Ren susu, that fate would of been Ren susu's 😭. When Ren susu found her friend in a disheveled mental state, that was so sad. Wang Churan did a great job acting out the part where she slap master Huo and stab him consistently with teary eyes. That nasty pervert master Huo deserves his shortcoming 💥🔪🔪. I feel bad that her friend passed away shortly after Ren susu rescued her. Then Qingyi was also unintentionally dragged into this mess. Ren susu never wanted him to get hurt, but he just got caught in the cross fire. Ren susu even shot herself in front of the Huo guards to clear his name but they still wouldn't let him go.😭

Many dramas have almost the same plot and storyline, just in different settings with different casts. But every drama are unique in their own way. Overdo is good, each episode will reveal new details and plot twist.

Ren susu and Qingyi's love story 3 years ago was so pure and the happiest days of their lives. After Qingyi sent his photograph to Ren susu, 🤣 he thought that she ditch him after seeing his picture lol. Ren susu haven't wrote back to Qingyi for many months because she was already in town for those months spying and trying to get inside the Huo mansion to save her friend but she couldn't get in since it was heavily guarded. Then Ren susu happened to encounter Qingyi at the Huo mansion while climbing on the tree to spy. She recognized Qingyi at first glance with his appearance and specifically with the mole on his nose (zhang Linghe's beauty mark)👃 😅 . Ren susu told him to mind his business, and mumble that he is a "good doctor" before she fell down the tree, that hint makes Qingyi knew that she was Ren susu. After confirming with each other, he carried her on his back and runaway happily in the winter snow. They were so sweet. ☺️

Qingyi and ren susu's love story started with writing letters and at the end of the drama it also end with a letter.

Each to their own. Many international fans were waiting for it to release on Netflix as that's the main site for international fans to watch asian dramas, they never release it on Netflix. I'm an international fan like many others and I love overdo. The story is sad but there's also humour that creates a balance. Talking about distress, American movies are more distressful.

Yeah, things can get messy with fan wars. We will see who they pick for fl.

So many rumored fl lead, idk if it will be confirmed for Sun Qian. If they still haven't decided yet, hoping for wang churan and zhang linghe to reunite for this historical drama.

Yeah, wang churan, lu yuxiao, and liu yifei have similiar facial features but also in their own unique way. 😅 some people even said that wang churan and zhang linghe look like twins or siblings 🤣 idk about that but wang churan and zhang linghe do look good together.

Who knows 🤷‍♀️, anything can happen last minute.

It's been many months, and so many rumored fl for this drama. If they still can't decide then I would like them to cast wang churan with zhang linghe in this historical drama. Their visuals in overdo is perfect, i would like to see both of them in historical costume.

Ren susu and Qingyi had so many hand holding scenes through out the drama. Watching the bts and learned that it was zhang linghe's idea for most of the hand holding scenes. The bts where they did the pinky promise, he said he wanted to hold her hand too lol. I like how wang churan and zhang linghe are giving advice and helping the director direct.

I love Ren susu and Qingyi pen pal letters. Brought back memories, made me remember writing pen pal letters back then. Ren susu is so funny, she sent a drawing of herself as a buff man and also a depiction of what Qingyi look like. Then Qingyi sent her a drawing of the human body anatomy, 😅🤣 Ren susu called Qingyi a "pervert". Lmao

Yass, Fu Xin Bo is aging like fine wine. I can't believe that he's 39yrs. 😅 Their mom in this drama is played by Myolie Wu whom is 46yrs and they made Fu Xin Bo her son. Many said the elder sister looks older than the mom, their older sister is played by momo Wu who is 34 yrs old. I think they all played their character really good.

Yeah, qingyi mother hates him and blames him for the death of their father Murong Feng. They never get along. If you watch the whole drama you will to understand more, and they also have a lot of flashbacks that help explain it too as each episode unfold.

If you listen and pay attention to qingyi sarcastic remarks, you will understand who he got it from (adopted dad).

Since qinyi birth mother doesn't care about him, what makes her think others will care about him. Qingyi's mom was flabbergasted so she ask "what kind of talk is that" and he replied back a "human talk", he was just being sarcastic.
