i should've waited for it to finish airing but my curiosity made me binge watch all 4 episodes in one day π now im vibrating in my seat, impatiently waiting for the next episodes aaaa. this is my favorite 2023 kbl so far, i gotta say.
they spent 40minutes out of a 50minute long episode just... crying. honestly the whole conflict with the father was unnecessary. it felt so out of sudden, forced and rushed. it would've worked better had they introduced the father earlier in the story or spent a scene or two showing Eiw's struggle with his father's smoking habit or something. i also don't like the way they forced Eiw to forgive his father. did they have valid points? sure. but they should've given Eiw his time and space first. let him forgive his father at his own pace. Eiw has been living fine without his father all this time. so what's the point of guilt tripping Eiw into keeping a good relationship with his father now?
I've been loving this series so much, but i don't know how i feel about the last episode. the happy part was just like 10minutes and honestly it wasn't enough after all that crying. it's like slapping a small plaster onto a big crack on an aquarium wall.
i started watching it for NetJames, expecting to skim through the het part and only watching NetJames scenes, but i turned out really liking the whole thing. the first two episodes are pretty strong imo, so that's really good. already looking forward to the next episodes.
that ending is pissing me tf off. the way Pla and Toon (and Gus too) putting all the blame on Bew, and their "no matter how hurt you are it's not an excuse to hurt someone else" bullshit when they hurt Bew first?? like?? why did they think Bew want to take a revenge in the first place? because you guys used and betrayed him first! you guys don't have the right to demonize Bew when you guys are just as bad, and you guys are the ones who drove him into this path.
Rain-Payu story ended or not? I'm awfully tired of waiting for Sky's part to start. I couldn't care less about…
how the fuck would they start with PrapaiSky first when literally in the book their story only started AFTER PayuRain already together and settled down.
Vice Versa has been one of the bls that i thoroughly enjoyed this year. it's almost my comfort series. im already sad that it has ended, im gonna miss Puen and Talay and also the friend credit gang so much. i hope to see JimmySea again in the future!
