The story is indeed predictable but the romance make up for that, even without much developpement. It's hard to explain... Even in the middle of their fight, you can feel that they are very attracted to each other, particularly Wang Kai.
As for skipping, I advise you to not skip anything in the first 2-3 episodes. After that, I skipped without a problem:
- about every scenes with Li Wei Wei bald co-worker, the one who tries to steal her post. Apart from deapening some misunderstandings in the beginning, he's useless.
- when the conversation between Li Wei Wei and Huo Xiao was taking forever and going nowhere.
As for the rest, if you get bored, you can simply fast-forward while checking once in a while. But:
- The scenes with Chen Yi Du's assistant are boring at first but interesting when a certain someone starts to pursue her.
- Be aware that some scenes with Chen Yi Du's childhood friend are important. (He comes in the picture quite late.) You'll understand why later.
Okay, so I have two guesses as to what MAY happen in the end :- 1) She ends up with Lee Min Ho (considering the…
At the end of episode 7, they wrote "Six different choices and six different endings / Revealing multiple story endings". So I think that is what we'll get: two different endings per episodes. As for Lee Min Ho, he may not appear at all or be the angel's boyfriend or boss.
No problem. It's an alright drama I guess. There are some fun moments but also some boring ones. Mainly when the couple isn't together. I just fast-forward those. The strong point of this drama is the chemestry between Chen Joe and Wang Kai. Honnestly, I started this drama for Wang Kai. I wanted to see him in a romance after When a Snail Falls in Love. I'm not disappointed on that part.
That's not a spoiler. It's something you learn in the first five episodes out of 39. The way the summary was written before was completely wrong, it had to be changed in a way that actually fitted the drama.
I just finished episode 6. It's not bad but I'm still far from understanding the 9.2 rating. Does this…
Just to let mdlers know, I just finished the drama. (9/10) Honestly, when I was at episode 6, my rating was 6.5/10, hence my hesitation to drop it. But after finishing it, I have to say there is only one reason why I didn't give it a 10/10. The fact that it took me 10 whole episodes to start getting interested. But thanks to Jenny Si's comments, I didn't drop it and that was fortunate. It would have been quite a waste. It did get really interesting once Mei Changsu started executing his plan. If you like intelligent plot, this drama is definitely a must-see.
So this is kinda like the American show /movie frequency?
Yes, because they use the same trick to communicate through time and it's a police drama. Each communication bring chances, big or small, and they have to deal with it. Other than that, the story is different. If you liked Frequency, you'll probably like this.
Hold up, is the first lead Jennifer Hong or Huang Wei Ting :O
I'd say there are two main couples. So don't worry, in the long run, they get nearly as much time. Maybe we see a tiny bit more of Jiang Zhi Heng and Ding Ruo Qin, but just a tiny bit.
