For those who read the webtoon, could you tell me what the series differs from, especially at the end?
PJE's motives are more visible/clearer in the webtoon.He is a douche and doesn't fall in love with Nabi like it was shown in the drama.Nabi was only a 섬녀(a woman who is more than friends but not a serious date).Just like the drama they do date but PJE ends up dumping her.Which obviously is an awakening point for her.In the end PJE was still collecting butterflies(luring women)and NB gained her sanity.She considers dating Do Hyeok.
This ending has a realistic approach not because she ended up with potato(I don't root for him) but it did deliver the message the writer possibly wanted to convey. She didn't look happy till the very end as her previous relationships take a toll on her.She had a subtle development although her insecurities remained.The lesson here according to me was to put yourself above anyone and to choose self love.The way the writer potrayed her insecurities was a symbolism of her previous wounds which haven't healed although she is with another guy but nevertheless she isn't living in delusion!

I loved this comment although I hate the ending because she never changed and I assumed he was sugarcoated.From your interpretation Jae Eon didn't change neither did NB.He was like a drug she was addicted to(I sound so philosophical).Their toxic relationship remained nevertheless and they broke up. Oh this makes sense too.

This was a YA drama which portrayed how in reality casual relationships exist.NB is a very dependable character.She needs a boyfriend/lover to be happy.She goes to the extent where she ignores all the red flags and still continues to be swayed by PJE.Since she is the protagonist a character development on her end was what the audience expected.This drama started off and focused on NB and how she is contemplating but ended up being cliché where the guy's idea of love changes after meeting a girl.

I hope you grow as a person and love yourself...in life we meet people who leave scars but someday it will eventually fade. It's normal to drown in our own emotions so never regret even I had lost my true self and felt pathetic but sometimes mistakes are needed so that we remember to keep our mental peace above anyone else... go ahead and live your best life <3 hope NB will come out this mess too.
