Agreed on every point. The acting and the writing were so good here that I never missed the lack of skinship.…
Fah or was it Yihwa go downhill in the next season .. that's when I dropped it all together. I didn't hate twm as much as the sequels. Dropped it. The girl cheated too.
Forth and Beam both were drunk. And beam wasn't ambiguous.

The part of together with me that I didn't like is how they started. And the fact that he kept dating the girl while making out with the dude.. but then you show the girl to be the villain. Like which person would be ok being cheated on. You're lucky you dropped MIR.. it's even more ambiguous. And totally agree with LBC. I hate kengkla. And I think I only watched the show for ae Pete and never saw the sequel

Agree. It's one thing to realise you're bisexual or find it hard to come in terms with your sexuality but there are certain dramas.. . Like make it right and together with me on the top of my mind.. that misuse the cliche by making the whole thing too sexual. I liked Sotus. And even AePete in love by chance. Won't spoil in case you haven't seen but it was more gradual. But again, BLs are primarily based on yaoi.. and that genre in Mangas is controversial itself. It's gay relationship portrayed by women and for women and is weirdly sexual. But now we're almost in 2021. We need to normalise homosexuality and it's representation. So it's high time to move from Yaoi to other content. Everything has its place. Yaoi as well. But I hope the content becomes more diverse in near future.

It's conceivable but the point is not to stick to the trope. With thai BLs, that's sadly the case. I like dramas like cherry kiss or long time no see. Just simple good old romance.

Totally. I'm done with BLs based on a drunk adventure and then you're gay. Or one person forcing the other. Or anything ambiguous. I want to see two people in love. Straight or gay. Not the I'm gay for you trope. So that's what makes this drama special.
First, it was worth the hype. Second, the story and acting was so good that I really have no complains about the lack of skinship. Three, always protect Kurosawa.
I've watched a lot of BLs and no offense, plot isn't really their strong suit. They often tend to compensate by skinship what they lack in story. And I'm not complaining. Skinship in romance dramas is a guilty pleasure. But pulling off a romance drama purely on plot and acting is commendable. And that's what I needed to get out of my BL slump. I stopped watching Thai BLs for more than half a year because the stories were getting monotonous. So, this drama was a breath of fresh air.
Before starting the drama, I was all team Adachi. He's adorable like a little bunny and feels like you want to protect him. 10 min into ep 1, and I can fight the world for Kurosawa. You touch one strand of his hair and it's sparta.
I didn't get into the side characters much except the female colleague. I loved how they showed her to be rooting for them, but as a friend and not a fujoshi.
What I liked: The leads had a perfect romance. Not angsty. No stupid misunderstanding. Nothing stupid. Also, the show wasn't angsty at all and pretty easy to watch. What I didn't like: They let the prince who lead the coup go. I know he was misled into it but still, it's not like he could not have investigated a little. He knew the crown prince was in Rong city when his incident happened. Also, the girlfriend told him the same. But that idiot was blinded by revenge. I was expecting his girlfriend to die protecting him and that would open his eyes. Because that would make sense. But instead they kill the maid and make the sick boy who had just recovered lovesick. That was stupid.
I'm on a thai bl cleanse rn. Lol. Just Korean and Japanese.. and censored chinese XD

. Ohh I love fluffy. .. but cute fluffy. Lately few BLs i watched romanticised harrasment. And that ticked me off a little.

All in all, a BL done correctly.
