I was expecting the kiss scene to be a bit longer but I'm fully satisfied. It's romantic with a hint of innocence. WL and ZLS chemistry is really one of the best I've seen in Cdramaland and this is a historical costume drama with limited skinship scenes. What more if they do a modern romance, we viewers might be burned off and turn into ashes by then😂😂

I feel a bit sad for yuan yi missing CSS while CSS seems to be more comfortable with empress side. But then again I remember all she did and did not.

The scriptwriter deserves an applaud for their dialogues when main couple always argues. When LBY gives his side, I was like yeah he's right. And when it's CSS time to counter, I was like yeah she got a point😂 They don't give us nonsense arguments like other dramas.
