I've read that he's sort of an A-list actor though more in movies than dramas if that's the case he would really want to be first billing but whatever the result is and the ML they choose, I just hope the production don't mess up the script in this one

I think they lessened the age gap in the drama instead of the original 7 years gap in the novel..probably to pass censorship and avoid any issue that might arise on the age gap matter. IMO Novel is just so simple sweet story, having your first crush and dealing with growing up.. there's not really that much 'plot'..It's so simple that I really hope they don't mess this one up.

I know it might be difficult to keep people from getting video of scenes while they're shooting but the crew should at least make an effort to dissuade them and keep their shooting protected from prying eyes
