This drama is like a cup of tea after a long day its just so beautiful and the storyline is so fun, destressing an the leads acting is so good (my bb bai jingting never disappoints) plus the whole trope has so much potential a weak husband who is actually not that weak and his civilian arranged married glutinous wife, his eunch and her two handmaidens and their dog and they also fall in love along the way while making new friends, helping them and celebrating their wins together its just so nice and the comedy pls KISSIN THE SCRIPT WRITER its not overdone its not less its like so good makes u tear up because of laughing

I fr thought i wont be anle to move on from lltg and lbfd but this drama did it for me the romance is not rushed, the characters are not tooo matured they make stupid mistakes and the ml is not too overpowered he is just good at computers and that makes sense also the right kind of angst honestly which will 100% make us sob because fl mother hates the ml and is overprotective, the ml comes out from jail in the firet ep literally and theres smtg with betrayal and their breakup and the insane amount of yearning and how fuckin sad the mls life has been i see soooo much potential and the pacing is good too love the eay they dont have stupid second couple for now and only focused on WHY the fl and ml fall for each other and why she cant let him go and vice versa the future arc is going to hurt more after seeing their past and i canr wait for it ALSO PLS the tension build up they have and when they fr end up dating its going to HIT cause the build up is insane rn

want didi WANG DIDI the man you are i have fr never seen a actor who keeps on improving it’s insane i’m gonna say it but in mentor garden he was good but not up to thaaat level of an actor but this THIS the constant improvement the insane god speed level of constant learning god he ate it especially the scene where xlh denies and he cries literally screams beautiful he showed how dfqc felt in just one scene the gut wrenching “i’m the most powerful still i couldn’t save the one i love” feeling, the absolute feeling of being useless god i was so proud this proves didi can act in more complex character roles too btw

i just love how they showed no one is truly powerful without any hard work behind it no can be at the top dfqc gave up a lot for his power and took so much to cultivate his powerhiz hell fire but he is lost and a panicking cause xlh means the world to him and he wants her safe and remember this is the first time him feeling all these emotions he fr dont know how to save her than be cruel to her to remove the bone orchid its stupid dumb and typical but he is truly lost even the most powerful person will have a situation where they need to choose and its not always good decisions and thats make him more relatable to us
