Maybe it's because i had huge expection from it or something i just can't get into it.Or maybe because khun yai…
same, gmmtv series this year didn't really get me. most of their series are getting boring, the storyline is also weak. it may look different from the trailer, but after a few episodes, we are back in the same plot again. If they make it to 8 episodes, with no filler, the story will be more fun. I think right now, korean bl has an interesting idea in each of their series.
Can you please spoil the heartbreak part for me? I love to be ready! Also I read about the other era from a different…
the first heartbreak, when Jom vanishes in front Khun Yai (1900s) and travel way back to the 1800s. at that time they were both in a relationship, so Khun Yai was heartbroken and kept waiting for Jom to come back (but he didn't).
The second heartbreak, in the 1800s, Jom met Commander Yai and slowly developed their relationship. and for the second time, Jom vanishes again (while there was a war and Commander Yai tried to protect him so hard) and traveled back to the present (2000s). That was the last time he saw Yai.
I also think they might cover that part but on the trailer there was another conflict regarding the gl couple…
I don't know if they will give us a second season or whatever. I think they will combine both story lines in the same era (1900s). I just hope they don't cut all the (best scene/part) from the novel.
I don't think they will make Jom travel to another era just like in the novel. And I don't really care about that, I just hope they keep the heartbreak part. I'm in need of a good cry.
i'm not kidding, i liked episode 1 and 2. and after episode 3 idk it seems like this series is going in the same direction as other bl series. I thought gmmtv would bring something new but no.
I think your whole expectations on show was totally misunderstood, Kanghan Sailom story doesn't only based on…
The redemption arc is important (after what he did in episode 1-2) before this story moves forward, like right now it's hard to feel for the character (Kang)
that's why some people say episode 1-2 and episode 3-4 are like 2 different series.
Interesting synopsis, but I must respectfully disagree. Although I would agree with you that more than likely…
by pacing what I'm saying is.
1, the story in the novel is slower than this series, so I'm okay with this. the story is more interesting after jom becomes majordomo.
2, there are a lot of characters here, but all the stories have progress, which is usually the side story we only get in ep6 or something.
about the quality, I will rate it after all the episodes are released. so far, it has not disappointed me and keeps me looking forward to next episode.
by that, for me this series is not too slow and not too fast, it is in the middle. the story is also moving and makes sense (i'm tired with all fan service & nc scenes, i want a real story)
this is the pacing that I want, some series out there give you a lot of fan service without complex character development, and also the plot is all over the place.
like what i said last week, every character here is well written. and looks like we're already in angst part next week, i can't wait for it.
Khun Yai is not just a green flag, he is a whole forest atm.
It may look fast but I feel it's not because kanghan has not taken my redemption this is kanghan from sailom pov…
idk, so far Kang's character change is a bit too fast after what he did in the last 2 episodes. thats it. not about the pov or whatever, its about the character itself.
the "do if for me" scene had no impact on me, because of the sudden change (dynamics) between them.
the plot can be different if the direction of the story is different from other series. I wish they didn't put behind all the bullying thing just because of "love" (that's what other series often do), and now they bring the childhood trope (it's boring but if they develop it well, it will be good).

idk how to explain, so im so sorry :(
I'm in need a good cry.. you have no idea how I cried so hard when I read that ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
